An epistolary zombie novel, written from a historical-biographical viewpoint. This book details the struggles of those who caused the outbreak, and those who lived in a world failing to cope. After the collapse of 2015, the human population dwindled. With decades of effort by small groups all over the world, an organization called the Collect has formed. Driven by a loose coalition of surviving communities, the Collect works to rebuild the world from the remnants of what survived the infection, and the collapse which followed. Guided by a goal of learning and understanding their history, this book is their first effort at printing various local histories that the Collect agents have gathered as they travel the world in search of those who would join them, or do them harm. Finally, with the means to publish and distribute large-scale written material reclaimed, they release Primarius One, a book which details their current knowledge of the now infamous Daily Party, as well as examples of those who lived and struggled during the outbreak and the years that followed. Now delivered to each branch of the Collect headquarters, this book has become required reading for the survivors as a means of instilling a sense of community and appreciation of history, which the leaders of the Collect believe to be important to those who remain.

This collection of documents is the first worldwide official release by we that survive, of the decline of the many. Understanding and accepting our heritage is necessary for us to honor the fallen.

Our world is built off their hard work, their ideas and their struggles and, in the end, their sacrifice. They were our friends, our husbands and our wives, our brothers and sisters, our parents and our children, our lovers and our enemies. Although their time has ended, their legacy will not. We will retain their knowledge and their art, their science, their wisdom and their love and we will learn from their mistakes.

For those who survived, this is in remembrance; we must never forget. For those born in this New World, this is our confession and the most important part of our history and your heritage. We hope no such event will ever again befall humanity. If history repeats then you might take heart at the understanding gained within.
