Episode 1: The Return and the Announcement
Amin Parker stood in the medical suite fully healed.
His wrists, which only days earlier had been completely fractured, now moved without pain or restriction. Mary and Cassandra stood beside him. The three of them still carried the quiet, transcendent weight of everything they had witnessed with Jesus Christ. No words were needed between them. The journey through Scripture had changed something fundamental inside each of them.
Outside in the waiting area of the Colosseum medical wing, Prince Parker, Princess Parker, and Rasheem Parker sat in the soft chairs near the reception desk. They still believed Amin was recovering from serious injuries.
Prince leaned back with his arms crossed. “They been in there a long time.”
Rasheem shrugged. “The nurses said that we need to leave so that he can get his rest.”
Princess glanced toward the closed doors. “Mom and Cassandra have been in there with him the for far too long, I thought Cassandra said she just had to ask him a simple question. Whatever’s going on, is taking too long.”
The three continued a low, casual conversation—complaints about the hard chairs, guesses about when the medical staff would finally release Amin, and light speculation about what the family might do once he was cleared. None of them suspected the truth.
Five minutes later the doors opened.
Amin walked out first, moving with complete freedom. Mary and Cassandra followed close behind. The entire waiting area froze. Receptionists, nurses, and the remaining Parker family members all turned at once. The head doctor stepped forward, eyes wide, and immediately took Amin’s hands for a rapid examination. After a long, stunned moment, the doctor looked up and spoke the only conclusion that made sense.
“This… this can only be the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
He cleared Amin to leave without further medical supervision.
The family left the medical wing in a mixture of shock, relief, and quiet awe. Amin, Mary, and Cassandra still said almost nothing. Their faces carried the unmistakable look of people who had seen far more than anyone else in the room could understand.
That evening the Parkers returned to their quarters inside the Colosseum.
In a private room, Princess sat with Mary. Mary finally spoke of the journey—how Jesus had guided them through the great events of Scripture, how they had remained only observers, and how the weight of what they witnessed still rested on her heart. Princess listened without interruption, absorbing every word.
Elsewhere, Amin sat with Azizah, Chihiro, and Ronada. He told them everything: the long walk through biblical history, the presence of Jesus Christ at every step, and the moment the Lord had healed his wrists with a simple touch. The three wives listened in silence, then drew closer to him, the protective circle forming once again—this time out of reverence rather than defense.
Three weeks later the news spread through all of New Jerusalem.
Amin Parker was completely healed. The city that had watched him play through pain now celebrated his full recovery. Almost immediately, soft rumors began to circulate: the Parker family was planning something new. Another tournament. Another season. Another chance to fill the Colosseum with competition and joy.
In the fourth week, Aman, Chiyō Parker, and Noriko Parker stood in the center of New Jerusalem’s town square—well outside the Colosseum walls, since the three of them were not bound by the same primordial restrictions as the others. A large crowd had gathered.
Aman raised his voice so everyone could hear.
“We will not continue the basketball league. We will not continue the football league. This season, New Jerusalem moves in a new direction. We are forming a professional baseball association. All games will be played inside the Colosseum so that every member of our family can remain in human form and compete together. Angel Jericho will be involved. Chiyō, Noriko, and I will also take the field as players. We begin with Spring Training, and we invite the best among us to join the New Jerusalem roster.”
The square erupted in cheers and applause. High anticipation swept through the crowd.
In the weeks that followed, formal invitations went out across New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem. One by one, the chosen accepted.

A brand-new head coach—completely original to the baseball era—was appointed to lead them: Coach Elias Thornwood, a sharp-eyed, soft-spoken strategist known for turning large, complicated rosters into disciplined units.
Spring Training was scheduled to begin inside the Colosseum in mid-February. All thirty teams in the new Afterlife Baseball Association would play their preseason games on the same sacred ground, ensuring the primordial Parkers never had to leave the only place that allowed them to remain in human form.
The Diamond of Destiny had been set in motion.
The first episode of the new era closed with the Celestial Diamonds’ roster fully formed, the city of New Jerusalem buzzing with anticipation, and Amin Parker—fully healed, quietly transformed, and once again ready to compete—standing at the center of it all.
