"An emotionally draining story with lots to unpack. I was mentally preparing myself for the possibility of the characters not being able to resolve their issues before the end of the story..... Several themes are interwoven from societal and family pressures & trauma, social class disparities, sexual identity, trust & betrayal, forgiveness, boundaries and a love that takes on all of it. Not a complete HEA, but definitely on a healthy, healing path! Thoughtfully done!"
