He spent the years that followed raising their daughter, Meg, building the systems meant to keep people alive, and learning that grief is easier to carry than uncertainty. Meg inherited more than her mother’s face. She came back to Luminara with a white-point ability no one fully understands, a sharp eye for broken systems, and a growing suspicion that the city built around her mother’s legacy is hiding something rotten beneath the polished floors. Then there is Carmine Quade. Billionaire heir. Playboy journalist. Public nuisance. And something else entirely. Carmine has spent years moving through the spaces between hero and villain, following the bodies no one else notices and working his way up a predator’s food chain toward an enemy he still cannot name. Soul Walker is a reincarnation of my original story, which was featured on Wattpad’s Action profile for “Superpowers!” and became a Wattpad Action Novella Contest finalist.

The original premise involved C-level supers in a city where superhuman abilities were commonplace. The protagonist wasn’t your typical superhero, and he had a fatal flaw.

Unfortunately, in this reincarnation, it is his dead wife.
