Chapter 1: Part 1

No one's POV~

"Alya, Alya, wait, you forgot your books," a voice said, coming from behind Alya. It was Cleo; she was running down the hall with books in her hands. Cleo is Alya's 5'0 best friend, and she can get a bit crazy.

"Oh yeah, I'm sorry," Alya said, turning around to see Cleo stop behind her.

"Are you sure you're fine? You seem a bit off since the New Year's party Cole threw," Cleo said, panting. She handed over the books to Alya and started to walk to her next class

"Alya followed after her, catching up to her shortly after. "I know I seem off, but I can reassure you that I'm fine," Alya said, walking beside Cleo.

"But that's the thing, you're not okay; you daydream more than usual," she said, opening the classroom door.

"Hey, I don't daydream; I zone out," Alya said, clearly offended.

"It's the same thing, but seriously, what's wrong?" Cleo asked, taking a seat in the back of the room.

"Well, as you said, it started at the party," Alya said, setting her books down.

"What started?" Cleo asked, curious.

"My crush," Alya said.
