Chapter 1
Taehyung's POV
The first time I saw Jeon Jungkook, he was running across the college ground, laughing like the world belonged to him.
His hair flipped perfectly in the wind.
He wore a plain black hoodie and jeans, nothing special.
But my heart...
It skipped.
Like, really skipped.

I don't know why. I didn't even know his name back then.
But that moment? It stayed with me.
And since that day, he stayed too.
Days turned into weeks.
Weeks turned into months.
And now... it's been two years.
Two full years of quietly liking him.
Two years of sitting in the corner of the canteen, just to watch him smile.
Two years of pretending I didn't feel anything — when all I ever felt... was him.
I never talked to him.
But I drew him.
God, I drew him so many times.
From memory. From far away.
Every smile. Every tilt of his head.
Even the way his fingers held a pen.
I sketched it all in my notebook — like a secret no one could ever steal.
Sometimes I'd laugh at myself.
Sitting alone like a fool, smiling while looking at his photos on the college event page.
Even his blurry photos made me blush.
Was it stupid?
Probably.
But love doesn't ask for permission.
And then... I heard about Jina.
His girlfriend.
Please. She's pretty but loyalty left her group chat long ago.
I don't cuss — I'm a good boy — but if I did, she'd need subtitles.
Jungkook deserves poems, not people like her. 😌🔥
It felt like someone punched me right in the chest.
No. Not because I thought he was mine.
He never was.
But still... it hurt.
I didn't cry.
I didn't complain.
I just... made a quiet decision that day:
That I will love him.
Not for return. Not for attention.
Just because my heart already chose him.
And it's not his fault that I did.
So I'll love him... from far away.
Even if he never knows.
And maybe, just maybe —
That's enough....♥️
I'm in my third year of college.
Art major.
I prefer silence over small talk, and empty pages over crowded rooms.
People say I'm hard to read. Maybe I am.
I just feel things... quietly.
I don't have a big friend circle. I don't try to stand out.
I sit by the window. I sketch what I see.
And for the past two years...
All I've seen is him.
Jeon Jungkook.
The cafeteria was loud, as usual.
People laughing. Plates clinking. Life moving too fast for hearts like mine.
I sat at my usual corner — the one no one ever really noticed.
Except me.
And maybe him.
Jungkook entered with her.
Jina.
All smiles. All sparkle. She clung to his arm like she owned him — like the whole world needed to see that he was hers.
He laughed at something she said.
I didn't hear the joke.
But I saw the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled.
God, that smile.
I lowered my gaze, pretending to stir my cold coffee.
But my heart? It wasn't pretending.
It twisted.
Softly. Slowly.
The way it always did when I saw them together.
She leaned close, brushed his hair back, whispered something in his ear.
He chuckled. Looked happy.
I told myself not to care.
I told myself, "You chose this. You said you'd love him without expecting anything back."
But right now...
Sitting here, pretending not to look —
It hurt more than I expected.
Not because he was with her.
But because he didn't even know I was here.
Watching.
Every day.
Loving him silently.

And then, just for a second —
He looked around.
Our eyes met.
I froze.
It lasted a breath, maybe two —
Then he looked away.
Smiling again.
For her.
Not me...
