THREE MONTHS LATER

Three months.

It had only been three months since Hiraya entered the world.

Yet Felip couldn’t remember what life had been like before her.

He had once thought he understood exhaustion.

Long rehearsals.

Back-to-back schedules.

Travel.

Performances.

Late nights.

Early mornings.

None of it compared to waking up at three in the morning because a tiny human had decided that sleep was apparently optional.

Felip sat on the edge of the bed, hair messy, eyes barely open.

Beside him, Y/N was still asleep.

A tiny cry came from the nursery.

Felip immediately looked toward the door.

He sighed.

“Okay.”

He stood.

“I’ll get her.”

Y/N opened one eye.

“You sure?”

“Yeah.”

He walked into the nursery.

Hiraya was awake.

Her tiny hands moved around while she made small sounds.

Felip smiled.

“Good morning, little dream.”

Hiraya stopped crying when she saw him.

Felip’s heart melted.

“Oh, so that’s all you wanted?”

He picked her up carefully.

“You just wanted Dad?”

She made another tiny sound.

Felip laughed.

“Yeah. I know.”

He carried her back into the bedroom.

Y/N smiled sleepily.

“She already has you wrapped around her finger.”

Felip looked offended.

“No.”

Y/N raised an eyebrow.

“Really?”

He looked down at Hiraya.

She blinked at him.

He smiled.

“...Maybe.”

Y/N laughed.

Felip sat beside her.

For a few moments, everything was quiet.

Then his phone buzzed.

He looked down.

The group chat.

STELL: Is Hiraya awake?

Felip frowned.

Another message.

JUSTIN: I dreamed about her.

Another.

JOSH: Tell me when I can visit.

Another.

PABLO: Don’t overwhelm them.

Three seconds later:

STELL: I’M COMING OVER.

Felip stared at the phone.

“How did they know?”

Y/N laughed.

“They’re obsessed.”

Felip looked down at his daughter.

“So am I.”

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

The Contract Wife

jo987_123: The story could be longer, the ending feels like you've missed the last episode of a series that is never going to be shown again and no recording of it exists anywhere. A lot of continuity errors, she leaves her car in town/at college and then it's at home the next morning. She helped him out of his...

jo987_123: This is a good story, but it needs a good editor to go through this iteration and fix the mistakes. The pov changes from 1st person to 3rd person, often, and sometimes within one sentence. It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...

Sharda: I really enjoyed the pace of this story. It was mostly realistic, but It was tough to wrap my head around that a 13-year-old boy would be so intuitive and a friend to his mom. My 13-year-old daughter is super smart and says I am her best friend so I guess it is possible. I struggled because boys usu...
