PROLOGUE:The Secret That Became a Family

Once upon a time, there was a couch.

A completely ordinary couch.

It had been the place where Felip and Y/N had hidden from the world.

The place where they whispered instead of speaking loudly.

The place where they stole kisses when they thought nobody was watching.

The place where four very shocked men had accidentally discovered that Felip Suson—the man who had somehow managed to keep an entire relationship secret—was hopelessly in love.

That night had changed everything.

The couch had started the chaos.

But somehow, it had also started a family.

Years later, that same couch sat in the middle of their home.

And it was no longer a hiding place.

There were toys scattered across it.

A tiny pink blanket belonged to Hiraya.

A little stuffed dinosaur belonged to Dakila.

One of Felip’s hoodies was permanently draped over one armrest.

And Y/N had long ago accepted that the couch would probably never look clean again.

She smiled as she watched her two children playing on the floor.

Hiraya, now old enough to run around the living room, carefully carried a stuffed rabbit in her arms.

Behind her, little Dakila crawled after her as quickly as his tiny legs could manage.

“Dakila!” Hiraya giggled.

The little boy squealed.

“Dada!”

Felip looked up from his phone.

“Did he just call me?”

Y/N laughed.

“He calls everyone Dada.”

Felip placed a hand over his heart.

“Still counts.”

Hiraya climbed onto the couch.

“Mommy!”

Y/N looked at her.

“Yes, sweetheart?”

Hiraya held up the stuffed rabbit.

“Baby.”

Y/N smiled.

“You think the bunny is a baby?”

Hiraya nodded seriously.

Felip looked at Y/N.

“She’s going to be a good big sister if we ever—”

Y/N immediately gave him a look.

“No.”

Felip laughed.

“I’m kidding.”

“You better be.”

Dakila suddenly grabbed Felip’s pant leg.

“Dada!”

Felip scooped him up.

“Come here, little man.”

Dakila wrapped his arms around his father.

Felip kissed his forehead.

For a moment, everything was quiet.

No cameras.

No stage.

No screaming crowds.

No headlines.

Just them.

Their little family.

Y/N leaned against Felip’s shoulder.

“You know,” she whispered, “sometimes I still can’t believe this is our life.”

Felip looked at her.

“Me neither.”

He glanced toward their children.

“Maybe that’s because we never planned any of it.”

Y/N smiled.

“The best things rarely happen according to plan.”

Felip reached for her hand.

Their fingers intertwined.

And for the first time, neither of them had anything left to hide.

Because the secret had never really been about hiding forever.

It had been about finding something worth protecting.

And now...

They had found it.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

jo987_123: This is a good story, but it needs a good editor to go through this iteration and fix the mistakes. The pov changes from 1st person to 3rd person, often, and sometimes within one sentence. It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...
