MASTER STORY DOCUMENT

Version 1 — Cinematic Novel / Movie Story Format

PROLOGUE

Years after Tony Stark's death, Harley Keener is no longer just the kid who once helped Iron Man. He has grown into an engineer in his own right.

His bedroom has become a workshop. Circuit boards, tools, wires, metal fragments, and half-built machines cover his desk. On the wall are reminders of the people and ideas that shaped him: Iron Man. The Avengers. Tony Stark.

At his laptop, Harley writes to Happy Hogan, asking for one of Tony's old research papers on energy absorption and material stability. He hesitates before sending it.

Then he closes the laptop and looks at an old Iron Man flight video. He doesn't watch it like a fan anymore. He watches it like an engineer studying a machine.

His phone rings. His best friend tells him that his father, a police officer, has received information about smugglers moving stolen experimental technology.

Harley looks toward the corner of the room.

His prototype armor stands there.

It is unfinished: no legs, an incomplete torso, exposed wiring, a chest unit, a helmet, and mechanical arms and hands.

Harley smiles.

Tonight, the prototype gets its first real test.

CHAPTER 1 — THE FIRST TEST

At night, in a warehouse district, smugglers unload crates filled with stolen technology.

Hidden above them, Harley watches. Then he activates his prototype.

Metal plates lock around his arms. The chest reactor powers up. The helmet closes.

There is no nanotechnology and no elegant transformation. This armor is built through engineering, trial, and stubborn determination.

Harley jumps.

He lands badly.

The landing needs work.

The smugglers notice him, and the fight begins.

At first, Harley holds his own. His weapons knock guns away, and the mechanical arm gives him increased strength. But the smugglers came prepared.

Harley is overwhelmed. The armor overheats. One arm stops responding. He is thrown against a wall.

Then a powerful blast tears through the warehouse.

Riri Williams arrives in her advanced armor.

Harley and Riri stare at each other for a moment before joining the fight. Together, they defeat the smugglers.

Afterward, Riri examines Harley's armor.

She asks if he built it.

Harley says, "Mostly."

Riri points out that it is illegal. Harley looks at her armor and points out that hers is too.

Riri pauses.

Fair point.

She warns Harley never to test unfinished armor at an actual crime scene again, then flies away.

Harley watches her disappear into the night.

His first real encounter with another armored hero is over.

But someone else has noticed him.

CHAPTER 2 — THE WORLD STARTS BREAKING

Weeks pass.

Harley continues working. He improves the armor, studies Tony Stark's research, and watches footage of the Avengers.

Then something catches his attention on the news.

An Avengers battle.

For only a few seconds, Harley sees something he cannot explain: magic, a glowing portal, and energy behaving in a way that should not be physically possible.

He rewinds the footage.

Again.

Again.

He still doesn't understand it.

Not yet.

Then the world begins changing.

Strange reports appear on television. Buildings appear where they shouldn't. People report seeing places that don't belong. Scientists struggle to explain what is happening. Maps begin changing, and the news becomes increasingly chaotic.

Then one name begins appearing everywhere.

Victor Von Doom.

And the collisions between universes become worse.

Harley remembers the strange energy from the footage.

His phone rings.

His friend's father has discovered another collision.

Nearby.

CHAPTER 3 — THE COLLISION

Harley and his friend approach the site at night.

Immediately, they know something is wrong.

Part of one street appears to overlap with another place entirely. Objects do not match. Buildings seem to shift. Even the air feels wrong.

Harley checks his equipment.

The readings go insane.

His friend looks around nervously and tells him they should leave.

Harley doesn't answer.

The collision suddenly shifts.

Harley is thrown away.

He survives.

His friend doesn't.

There is no heroic goodbye. No speech. Just silence.

Harley slowly realizes that he is alone.

CHAPTER 4 — FAILURE

That night, Harley sits alone in his bedroom.

He hasn't slept.

His thoughts keep returning to his friend's father—the police officer who trusted them.

What will Harley tell him?

What will his face look like?

Harley looks toward his armor.

For the first time, he doesn't see a machine.

He sees failure.

His technology couldn't stop what happened. His armor couldn't even understand the phenomenon.

So Harley begins studying.

Everything.

Collision patterns. Energy anomalies. Dimensional physics. Magical phenomena. Material science.

He barely sleeps.

CHAPTER 5 — THE MATERIAL

In his workshop, Harley works on a new material.

He doesn't know about Uru.

He is trying to create something himself—a material capable of interacting with the strange energy surrounding the collisions.

Eventually, he succeeds.

Barely.

The material reacts violently with his armor. Harley pulls away, hurt by the reaction.

He looks at the material.

It worked.

Harley knows it is dangerous.

He uses it anyway.

His investigation becomes an obsession. He studies collision data, tests the unstable material, modifies the armor, investigates another anomaly, repairs the damage, and starts again.

The consequences become worse.

But Harley refuses to stop.

CHAPTER 6 — KAMAR-TAJ

Eventually, Harley arrives at Kamar-Taj.

His armor is damaged. His body is exhausted. He can barely stand.

He reaches the entrance and asks for help.

Then he asks the Masters one question:

Where is Uru?

They don't understand what he is talking about, and they refuse to let him pass.

Harley activates parts of his armor. The situation becomes tense.

Then Wong appears.

Wong studies Harley—not the armor, but Harley himself.

He immediately sees the desperation behind Harley's actions.

Wong tells him to turn it off.

Harley hesitates.

Then he deactivates the armor.

Wong approaches him.

He tells Harley that he is hurting himself.

Harley looks down at the damaged armor.

He already knows.

CHAPTER 7 — YOU DON'T HAVE TO DESTROY YOURSELF

Inside Kamar-Taj, Harley begins studying magic.

He tries to manipulate magical energy.

Nothing happens.

He tries again.

Nothing.

Again.

Nothing.

Harley becomes frustrated.

Wong watches him.

He tells Harley that he doesn't have to be good at everything.

Harley answers that he doesn't need to be good at it. He just needs it to work.

He tries again.

Fails.

Again.

Fails.

Finally, Wong takes the armor away.

Harley immediately asks for it back.

Wong says no.

Harley says he needs it.

Wong tells him that what he really needs is to stop.

Harley goes silent.

Wong looks at him with genuine concern—almost like a father.

He tells Harley that destroying himself does not prove he is serious.

Harley looks away.

Wong keeps the armor.

For Harley's safety.

CHAPTER 8 — URU

Without his armor, Harley returns to studying.

Books surround him in the Kamar-Taj library.

He reads everything he can find.

Eventually, one name catches his attention.

Uru.

Harley's eyes widen.

He learns that it is an ancient Asgardian material, powerful and capable of surviving forces far beyond ordinary technology.

Harley begins connecting the pieces.

His unstable material isn't strong enough.

But Uru might be.

And if the right material can interact with magical energy, Harley could build something completely different.

An armor capable of absorbing magical energy—and using it later.

Harley immediately goes to Wong.

He tells him he needs to talk to Thor.

Wong already knows why.

Harley wants Uru.

But he isn't asking to take it.

CHAPTER 9 — THOR

Harley meets Thor in another realm.

Thor listens as Harley explains everything: the collisions, his friend, the unstable material, Doom, magic, and what he is trying to build.

Thor understands Harley's desperation.

But his answer is still no.

Uru is not Harley's to take.

Harley insists that he isn't asking to take it.

Thor tells him that he seeks a weapon because he fears what is coming.

Harley answers that he is trying to stop it.

Thor studies him.

He warns Harley that those are not always different things.

Harley's frustration rises.

He asks what he is supposed to do—sit there while people disappear?

Thor remains calm.

He tells Harley that he is a young man attempting to carry a war that is not his.

Harley looks at him.

It became his when people started dying.

Thor doesn't respond.

Harley leaves.

CHAPTER 10 — THE PATTERN

Back at Kamar-Taj, Harley continues studying the collisions.

Then something clicks.

He looks at the data.

Two separate locations.

Overlapping.

Then another.

And another.

Harley's eyes widen.

The collisions aren't simply destroying places.

They're connecting them.

He studies the pattern.

One particular collision is different.

It isn't connecting two places on Earth.

It's connecting Earth to another realm.

Harley whispers one word:

Asgard.

CHAPTER 11 — THE CROSSING

Harley builds a small device.

No weapons.

No full armor.

Just enough equipment to track a dimensional connection and survive the transition.

He checks the readings.

The device works.

Then Wong's voice comes from the doorway.

Harley stops.

Wong asks what he is doing.

Harley knows there is no point lying.

He apologizes.

Wong tells him not to.

Harley says he has to.

Wong tells him he doesn't.

A long silence follows.

Harley looks at the device.

Then he looks at Wong.

He remembers Wong's lesson: he doesn't have to destroy himself to help people.

So Harley asks Wong to help him get back.

Wong realizes what Harley has already decided.

CHAPTER 12 — ASGARD

The collision begins to open.

Energy tears across the space between realities.

Wong reaches toward Harley.

Too late.

Harley activates the device.

He steps into the collision.

And disappears.

Silence.

Then—

Harley falls from a dimensional rupture.

He hits the ground.

Slowly, he opens his eyes.

Massive structures surround him.

Ancient ruins.

A strange sky.

An entire world beyond anything he has ever known.

Harley slowly gets to his feet.

His equipment is damaged.

But one device still functions.

He checks the readings.

They are unlike anything he has ever seen.

Harley looks toward the horizon.

A massive Asgardian structure stands in the distance.

His eyes widen.

He whispers:

Uru...

Harley takes a step forward.

Then another.

He has finally reached Asgard.

THE END OF PART ONE

But Harley doesn't know the truth.

He wasn't the only thing that crossed the collision.

CUT TO BLACK.
