Two orphans grew up in a Catholic orphanage, where they learned that some feelings could become sins. Between prayers, hidden letters, and late-night visits the nuns pretended not to notice, they built a bond that should never have existed. He promised to find her once he was free. She promised to wait for him.
But promises know abandonment, too.
Two years later, he keeps his promise. He finds her transformed into someone who no longer resembles the girl he left behind. She has learned how to live without the orphanage. He has learned how to survive without her. And yet, there are some things time cannot erase.
Because some memories keep burning. Some desires never cease to exist. And there are sins that even repentance cannot absolve.
They say the seventh sin is lust.
