MR. KIM & HIS MR. JEON

Summary

"You can't ignore me forever," he whispered - eyes dark, jaw tight. Taehyung didn't flinch. "It's not ignoring, Mr. Jeon. It's teaching you a lesson." A smirk. "So now you're the teacher?" Taehyung leaned in, calm and deadly. "You called me pathetic in school..." He stepped closer. "Now you call me sexy?" Jungkook's breath hitched. "You always were." Taehyung blinked. "Be careful. Flirting with your boss could get you fired." Jungkook, with a smile that could ruin hearts- "Too late. I'm already falling."

Chapter 1 ~

Taehyung's First Interview (Age: Early 20s)

City: Seoul | Location: Corporate Office Tower, 9th Floor

The elevator chimed.

Taehyung adjusted his tie for the fifth time. His palms were sweaty, heart thudding against his chest like it was trying to escape. It was his first interview — first real step into the world he'd only watched from a distance. Away from his hometown. Away from anyone who knew him.

The waiting area was too quiet. The receptionist smiled at him, but his throat was dry.

"You can do this," he whispered under his breath, trying to control his nervous breath.

He sat down stiffly, holding his resume like a lifeline. His leg bounced unconsciously.

And then—

Jungkook's face flashed in his mind.

That same school hallway.

That same smirk.

That same sharp gaze that looked down at him as if he was just another clueless classmate.

Taehyung clenched his fists.

He had been quiet back then. Nervous. Always watched. Controlled.

He hated that feeling.

He hated how Jungkook —his classmate in 11th standard, always had a way of making him feel small. Jungkook never missed a chance to tease him . Always make him feel down , block his way , snatch his things , make him unconfortable.

But that day in the schoolyard, when Jungkook had said,

"You should just stick to your books, Kim Taehyung. Don't dream too big." Because you are a coward , and your nervousness wont let you win in your life .

That voice still echoed in his head.

And it burned.

A soft beep pulled him out of the memory.

"Mr. Kim Taehyung, you may go in," the receptionist said.

Taehyung stood. Took a deep breath. Straightened his spine.

He walked into the room not as the nervous boy he used to be, but as the man he promised himself to become. Determined, focused, and dead set on proving every word Jungkook once said — wrong.

"One day," he thought, gripping the door handle, "you'll see me again, Jeon Jungkook... and this time, I'll be the one in charge."

Present - AFTER 8 YEARS :-

It took me exactly eight years to become what I am today — the man who business world watches closely, the one every investor wants to meet, the one companies chase with million-dollar offers.

From the naive age of twenty to the polished power of twenty-eight, I built myself. I bled, I broke, I rebuilt. I learned to wear silence like a suit and ambition like a crown.

But even as I climbed every ladder...

Even when my inbox flooded with offers, media begged for interviews, and CEOs called me by my first name —

I kept my eyes on only one name.

Jeon Jungkook.

The same boy who once made me feel small.

The boy who ruled the corridors of our school with cocky grins and careless whispers.

Who thought I never knew he was pulling my strings.

But I knew.

I knew everything.

And even now... I know more than he could imagine.

How he became HR head at one of the biggest growing companies in Seoul.

How he flirts with his female assistants and takes them out for drinks, only to leave alone.

How his younger brother is studying in LA.

How he prefers black shirts and cold brews.

How he goes clubbing twice a month, but always looks lost even among crowds.

He doesn't know I watched him all this time.

Not like a stalker — no, I was too busy building my empire.

But like someone who never really moved on.

And yet, the little boy in me — the one he underestimated — had one thing in mind.

Revenge.

Not the kind that destroys.

But the kind that unsettles.

The kind that slowly, quietly turns the game around — until the king finds himself bowing to the pawn.

I sip my coffee slowly, seated in my master bedroom, sunlight spilling across my chest as I scroll through the never-ending list of emails.

One subject line catches my eye.

Partnership Proposal – Mr. Han | Seoul Corporate Enterprises

I hum quietly, the name ringing familiar. My thumb freezes for a second.

Curious, I open it.

A detailed proposal — Mr. Han, the founder of Seoul Corporate Enterprises offering a 45% partnership stake in their expansion.

But what truly makes me click open the PDF isn't the offer.

It's the line at the end.

Kindly note: Jeon Jungkook – Senior HR | Attached profile enclosed.

My lips twitch.

I enlarge the image.

And there he is.

Sharp jawline. Cold eyes. Black button-up shirt. Still as annoyingly handsome as ever.

Still thinks he's untouchable.

I stare for a few seconds... before my index finger glides effortlessly to the reply button.

Approved. I'll join as partner. Let's set a meeting this Friday.

Sent.

I lean back into my leather headboard and smirk — the kind that isn't warm or kind.

It's not revenge to destroy him.

It's revenge to remind him.

Who I am.

Who he made me become.

And maybe...

Just maybe, while making him restless,

I'll also finally get to touch the lips I've imagined a thousand times.

Because somewhere between hatred and heartbreak, I forgot how to stop liking him.

But now?

Now he's going to know exactly who Kim Taehyung is.

Not as classmate anymore.

Not someone he can control.

But a man who's coming for him — with success in his pocket and unresolved affection in his eyes....💥
