Chapter 1: Summary
What do you get when you add a wealthy, imprisoned lieutenant, an incarcerated, bitter army officer, a devious, unfaithful ex-wife, a lying, injured ex-boyfriend, a deceased man’s emotional, grieving brother, and a fearful, intimidated church pastor? A very infuriated crime scene investigator! Just when everyone thought they could move on and enjoy marriage, peace, and contentment . . . once again they suffer at the hands of more enemies. A double wedding was supposed to be an event of happy bliss for them all, but quickly turned out to be the worst day of their lives. When the families learn that Estefan is to blame for this new hurtful act of vengeance they are now experiencing, their doubts drive him to avenge them in ways they could never imagine. With his back against the wall, Estefan takes matters into his own hands. In order to gain back the trust of those he loves the most, he will need to use all the resources he has to make sure justice is served when Faithful Enemies Emerge!
