Author Notes And Faye's Special Abilities
Welcome to My Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Witches of East End. My oc Faye will be the daughter of Zelda Spellman and Frederick Beauchamp. The Beauchamp family is the first family of witches direct descendant of Hecate.
Being from two witches bloodlines, Faye is more powerful than Sabrina. Riverdale does not exist here and Greendale is the neighboring town of East End.

Faye's unique abilities
Mental Manipulation: Faye is able to enter the minds of others and experience and "influence" their thoughts.
Mind Influence: When Faye enters a person's mind, she is able to influence them into doing what she wants. This power is not mind control, just influence, since she can't make someone do something that they wouldn't be open to doing anyway.
Empathy: When Faye is inside of a person's mind, she experiences and feels their emotions as if she were them. She is an empath, and when her abilities are amplified, she is able to experience, sense and detect the very feelings of those around he.
Memory Viewing: While in someone's mind, Faye can get them to show her their memories of past events. She can also help people recover lost memories.
Pathokinesis: Faye possesses the ability to manipulate emotions.
Pain Manipulation: Faye is capable of calming down people's pain and causing them relief.
Psychic Communication: She's capable of creating a two-way connection between herself and the person's mind she's in.
Mental Protection: Faye is capable of protecting someone's mind from another psychic, by pushing the other person out of their mind.
Cronomorph: Faye has the power to travel to the past through her own memories or those of other people. In the memories, she can change them by altering the future/present in different ways.
Soul Resurgence: Faye's empathy allows her to perceive emotions as more than feelings. She can sense the psychic imprint of a person's consciousness. While someone is alive, that connection is naturally anchored to their body. When they die, the connection is severed, but the person's soul still retains an emotional and psychic imprint. Faye can sense that imprint. If her connection to the person is strong enough, she can follow that emotional thread across the boundary between life and death and reconnect the soul with its body.
She isn't creating a new life. She's restoring a connection that has been broken. Faye would normally need physical contact with the person. She touches the body and uses her empathy to find the person's emotional signature. At first, she might experience flashes of the person's memories and emotions.
Then she finds the person's consciousness beyond the physical body. Faye essentially reaches across the boundary and calls it back.
This is what makes Faye's ability different from ordinary resurrection magic. A necromancer might command the dead.
Faye doesn't command them. She connects with them. She can't simply point at a corpse and resurrect it because she needs to find the individual soul. That's why her empathy is the foundation of the ability.
It also explains why resurrecting someone she has a deep emotional connection with is easier. Faye already knows their emotional 'signature.'
The price doesn't have to be a complicated magical formula. The deeper Faye reaches into someone's soul, the more she experiences what they're experiencing. If the person died terrified, Faye may feel that terror. If they died in pain, she may temporarily experience that pain. If their soul has been gone for a long time, finding that connection becomes harder. And if Faye isn't emotionally connected to the person, she may struggle to identify their soul at all.
