Persistent
Who could honestly not want him? Lee Jun had tried to, mostly because they had been friends when they were younger, so the memories of one another were far too fresh in a sort of way, unlike the friends he made later in life.
He also thought this would be much easier, but Lee came to realize that it wasn’t, because his childhood friend…was persistent.
He came to work only to step far too close into Lee’s space as if he belonged there. Maybe he thought he did, but Lee was doing his best to remind him that he didn’t.
And, he was wrong about that too.
When Choi wanted something, he didn’t let go of it, he wouldn’t, and his jealousy was far too potent for Lee to ignore.
Lee wasn’t the only one who held onto the childhood friend aspect, he just thought their mindset was close because they were childhood friends, and not the fact that they had grown older because of it.
Well, Lee wasn’t sure what he was thinking about because Choi was in his space again, giving him a look that made Lee’s inside melt in a certain way that other people couldn’t seem to do.
He had exes in the past, and well, they couldn’t keep up.
Choi was pushing past the boundary before Lee even knew what was going on.
“Will you let me?” Choi asked, getting closer, the smell of his cologne was strong, reminded him a bit of pine, and the closeness of his body barely touching Lee’s, and the way no one was in the room, was easing the warmth throughout Lee’s body. He was a puddle, he was sure he was.
“I’d let you do anything,” Lee said without thinking, and he shook his head, face heating up, and Choi smiling.
Choi touched Lee’s chin lightly, and lifted his gaze back to him, “Do you promise?”
“Promise…”
“That it’s okay, that you’ll let me.”
Lee didn’t really have to think about that, he was already empty of thought, and he smiled, pulling Choi closer and smirking, “I promise.”
