Among a world of energists, or cautious manipulators of energy, come the dreamers who can use these dreamscapes to console or torment, withholding the power to travel to alternate lands as they dream. Mahtab Murdock lives on the privilege her father’s military post had brought her. Powerless, she relies on her parents’ for a reason to live. Eons away in an alternate universe lives Fai, woefully untalented, his only wish lies in getting everyone to stop fighting. Two lives entwined by a series of melodramatic events...
