Do you think life matters? Or do people just don't care what happens to you as long as they get what they want
Stacy was born in a middle class family in the farms, her parents adored her but her father made sure that Stacy knew what hard work was and nothing in this world was free. In her early stages of school, Stacy was smart and brilliant, always scoring the top awards. On the first day of school she met the twins, Harlin and Kaya and their runner Niko. Three came from the same area, so they had been friends since forever. From their primary school to 7th grade Stacy was always to herself. Growing up in an community where having relationships or boyfriends was looked down upon and if someone found out, you could be expelled from school. Stacy was changing, with becoming a teenager, she was developing feelings and she had her eye on one single guy in 8th Grade. Unable to tell him, she told the twins, who spread it like wild fire in school. Unfortunate for her, he liked someone else and just played around to show his fake feelings for Stacy.
Meanwhile, someone else in 8th grade was admiring Stacy, he was very shy about it but he did make a scar on his arm to show how much he liked Stacy, showing the letter S scar to Stacy, both decided to date secretly. Days passed and soon it was the new year.
Hey Stacy, have you thought about becoming a leader at school? I don't know Harlin, I mean I could but it feels bad that Kaya was not considered. It's okay Stacy, I know my sister, she will start her drama and one of the teachers will make her a leader as well. Harlin, have you noticed that Bryan is always staring at me in class, I mean I sit at the back but he always looks back and smiles. Should you ask him, Stacy? NO! His my friend, I don't mix friends with feelings.
That afternoon, Stacy was waiting for Tom to come but he was late, being pissed, Stacy was not in a good mood. Catching their bus back home, a guy from high school started touching her arm, she gave him a warning, he did not stop, turning around she slapped him across the face. Everyone in the bus was shocked and silence followed. Walking home, her cousins questioned her. who was he? I don't know, he was touching my arm.
Next day, what Stacy did spread across the school, you were brave. Thanks guys. Bryan stayed silent, only watching Stacy. Later that day, Stacy was supervising the younger kids when Bryan asked her if she was still seeing Tom. Yes, I am. why do you ask? You don't know? NO! Stacy was scared of the answer that he might give and she walks away. Stacy, stop! what is it Bryan? He pins her to wall, Stacy, I like you, I always have liked you. You are the only person who helps me at school and understands me. I can give you everything. Bryan, let go and move back please, I don't like you that way, I have always considered you as a friend and I know that Samantha has liked you. But I like you Stacy! I am so sorry Bryan, but I cannot do this now. Stacy walks away worried. That afternoon, Stacy waits for Tom at their spot, soon Harlin and Kaya also arrive with Niko following. Harlin was dating Tom's friend Neil while Kaya was feeling bored and left alone. Soon both boys arrive, hey girls'. Tom was talking about the future but Stacy was more worried about her father or uncle seeing them as both worked in Town. As the buses start coming, the girls say good bye as they board the bus.
In the bus, the boys were talking about Stacy, the boy whom she slapped sat in the corner staring at Stacy. As their stop approached, the boy walking out threw a letter at Stacy. She was sacred to open it but she did. Inside was a bracelet and a heart drawing which said "I love you" Stacy hid the letter before her cousins could see. " Oh god, this is going to a long year of problems" Meanwhile Kaya was giving Stacy a very mean look and with that look Stacy knew, one day it will come back to bite her, what Stacy did not know was that, that look would change how her life was going to be in the future, if only she knew her future
