The Night My Goblin Came

Summary

*Chapter 1: The Heart Moon* My name is Nila. I just finished university in *Seoul* and came to my grandma's village, *Dalbit Village*, near the deep forests of *Gangwon Province* for vacation. My grandma warned me, "Don't go near that forest at night. There's a Goblin there." I laughed. A goblin? Who believes that in 2026? But that night... it was a full moon. I couldn't sleep, so I was sitting on the terrace. Suddenly, a violet light started glowing from the forest. In the shape of a huge heart, with the moon right in the middle of it. It wasn't scary. It was beautiful. So I walked into the forest. And that's where I saw him. He didn't look like a human, and not quite like a goblin either. Black-blue hair, a dark green outfit with golden embroidery, and a small earring. His eyes were fixed on the moon. "Did you create that light?" I asked. He turned around, a mix of fear and surprise in his face. "You... you can see me?" His voice was so soft. "Well, you're standing right in front of me." He smiled. "For 300 years, no one has been able to see me. I am cursed. I can only come out on a full moon night. But today... you are watching the moon with me." Then I learned his name was Kael. He was once the guardian of this forest. A curse turned him into a goblin. I am a modern girl in a hoodie and jeans from Seoul. He is a boy from a fantasy world. To be continued.....

Chapter 1 The Heart Moon

Chapter 1: The Heart Moon*

My name is Nila. I just finished university in *Seoul* and came to my grandma's village, *Dalbit Village*, near the deep forests of *Gangwon Province* for vacation.

My grandma warned me, "Don't go near that forest at night. There's a Goblin there."

I laughed.

"Well, you're standing right in front of me."

He smiled. "For 300 years, no one has been able to see me. I am cursed. I can only come out on a full moon night. But today... you are watching the moon with me."

Then I learned his name was Kael. He was once the guardian of this forest. A curse turned him into a goblin.

I am a modern girl in a hoodie and jeans from Seoul. He is a boy from a fantasy world. We have nothing in common. But when we sat under that heart-shaped moon and his hand brushed mine... I felt it.

This was just the beginning.

I thought he would be there for just one night. But then Kael told me something that scared me.

"My curse will only break if a human falls in love with me. Otherwise... I will disappear forever..
