The War of Lawyers

"As a practicing attorney and avid reader, this novel was a breath of fresh air, offering a riveting indictment on the interplay of race and power in the legal profession from the eyes of Brandon Closer, a no-holds barred, take-no-prisoners protagonist who candidly voices what I as an attorney have often thought, felt, and experienced, particularly when dealing with those held in the highest regard in the profession- judges. What also makes this novel a unique read is that I found myself intrigued to the point of performing my own casual research regarding the truisms weaved in the fictional plot, touching on subjects ranging from constitutional history to Gandhi to Shakespeare.. This work is a must- read for lawyers and non-lawyers alike."
