I am Doctor Elena Visconti, psychiatrist assigned to the Aurora for the past four years. This report compiles the interviews I conducted with the two crew members designated during the Zyphorian incident—an event some have already described as historic—which occurred on the 14th of last month while we were en route to Vyridia.
For the record: three Zyphorian specimens neutralized our weapons and propulsion systems, demanded compensation, and specifically named the technicians Zuri Jones, 22 years old, from South Carolina, and Kenza Benali, 21 years old, from Morocco. Under the pressure of the situation and on the recommendation of Commander Nia Harper, the two young women agreed to perform a sexual display, followed by a complete interspecies reproductive act, in the presence of the entire crew.
Medical examinations carried out immediately after the Zyphorians’ departure confirmed that both subjects were in perfect physical health. No lasting injury, no infection, and no active biological residue were detected. The accelerated gestation and egg-laying proceeded in accordance with what the still very incomplete exobiological literature had led us to expect.
My role was limited to assessing the psychological impact. The interviews took place between the eighth and tenth days after the events. I allowed the two women to recount the events in their own words, intervening only to clarify certain points or to explore particularly salient reactions.
