Kissing Wounds Review: March 7, 2019

"I adore this book. I've read it several times and I can say with absolute finality that this is my favorite book of all time. The grammar mistakes were far and few in between, and if there were more than 3, I was so distracted with the amazing plot that I didn't even see them. The authors writing style brought familiarity with the characters and their situation, as well as addressing some of the questions about religion I didn't even know I had. I've found that the more I reread, the more little details I find that just make the entire plot both ironic and iconic. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!! Discussion: It goes over the common phrase "I'll pray for you" and how it can have multiple meanings, and how it is sometimes used a threat, like a weapon. Something else that I find well played was when Sam and Matthew are in bed discussing Nathaniel near the beginning of the work. Sam says "some people just need a little push" referring to Nathaniel going to their Church. Which, is exactly what Matthew needed and got, when his "friends" started to push him to get counseling. It was the last straw. One of my favorite quotes of all time lies within this book, and it's about tolerance. I don't want to put the entire quote in there, but for those of you who have already read this work, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Overall, it just asks some very good questions. Questions, that seem to have no answer. Questions that make me ask myself if I'm making a mistake when it comes to what I believe in. "

I will probably read it again and i can confidently say that i will recommend it to friends But personally I feel like i would need a few more chapters towards the end although thats probably due to my attachment to the story.😅"
