Hidden Obsession

Summary

For four years, Dante Leone has kept his distance from Tessa Romano, convinced that loving her would place her in danger. As one of New York's most powerful Mafia bosses, he knows exactly what happens when enemies discover a man's weakness. But when Tessa becomes the target of a deadly threat, staying away is no longer an option. Tessa has never understood Dante's cold behavior, and being forced into his protection only makes matters worse. Their constant arguments ignite an attraction neither can deny, but when she discovers he's been secretly watching her for years, the trust they've begun building threatens to collapse. As secrets surrounding her childhood unravel, Tessa discovers her true identity and a family legacy buried beneath murder, betrayal, and organized crime. With the help of Alessandro Forte, Gabriella Moretti, and the dangerous De Santis brothers, she uncovers a conspiracy connecting six powerful families and a mysterious organization known as the Crown. Meanwhile, forbidden attractions and complicated loyalties threaten to pull their closest friends into the same dangerous web. In a world where love creates vulnerabilities and loyalty can be deadly, Dante and Tessa must decide whether their feelings are worth risking everything. But some secrets refuse to stay buried, and the greatest betrayal may still be waiting.

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel

Bloodlines

lblomme: I always love a story where good overcomes evil. The sad start, the growth, and ultimate strength of the main character was well done. The story never lagged and ultimately delivered a happy ending even for characters who were less than stellar. Well done!

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
