I love the story but 🤔
"I love this story but it is labeled wrong. There is no romance until the end. This book would be better labeled as action and adventure. No romance involved. I do like the storyline but it is basically an action filled adventure of a girl. You start the book hoping for a sweet romance but instead you get just an adventurous story with lots of action and almost no romance or hints of romance until the book has ended. I do suggest changing the label and tags to just pure action and adventure or bad reviews will be in the future. All in all it is a good book it just isn't romantic. "
Intriguing subject matter
"I love pirates, and a good pirate love story is wonderful. I like the main characters they are cool, but the story itself is boring. I’m trying to stay with it hopeful that maybe it will start to get exciting or interesting at all. It has a great plot, but the story itself isn’t executing the plot very well. There’s no exciting interactions with Blackthorn, she spent more time in this story with Aldrick then she does with the love interest. The author is failing to make it seem like the pirate is interested in her at all, or even why they are interested in each other. This story to be honest seems derivative, it’s lacking real imagination."
