Summary

ECLIPSE: The Boy Who Refused the War follows Renji Kurogane and his companions as they investigate a mysterious system treating wounded soldiers through a process called restitution. They discover that the system uses red bindings and regulators to transfer injuries and keep damaged bodies alive, but it comes at a terrible cost. As they investigate, they uncover evidence that military leaders have manipulated the system for power, risking the lives of countless patients. General Serac Dorn wants to exploit its abilities, even if others must suffer. Renji and his allies refuse to accept this cruelty and search for a way to save the patients without sacrificing innocent lives. Their struggle leads to a confrontation with Dorn and his soldiers. By repairing the system and restoring its original balance, they fight to free those trapped by it and expose the military's abuses. Afterward, the survivors begin rebuilding their lives, and Renji receives an opportunity to serve in the military without repeating its mistakes. The story explores the cost of war, the importance of human dignity, and the courage required to stand against injustice. Ultimately, it shows that true strength comes from protecting people rather than treating them as tools for power.

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
