Chapter 1: The Awakening of the Primordial gems

Before time existed...

There was only endless darkness.

Then, six beings came into existence-not born, not created, but eternal.

They were the Primordial Gods.

Together they forged reality itself. They created time, life, stars, galaxies, and countless universes.

Each god ruled over a divine power.

Aetherion-God of Life.

Ignivar-God of Fire.

Noxar-God of Destruction.

Chronis-God of Time.

Titanis-God of Multiplication and Strength.

But the Sixth God...

The Void King.

Unlike the others, he desired absolute control. His power could rewrite history itself, erasing people, kingdoms, or even gods as though they had never existed.

Believing he alone should rule creation, he betrayed the other five.

A war erupted across the cosmos.

Entire universes disappeared.

Stars collapsed.

Reality itself began to tear apart.

Unable to destroy him, the five gods sacrificed their physical forms to imprison the Void King inside the Forsaken Realm, a prison beyond space, time, and destiny.

Before fading away, each god sealed their divine essence inside a sacred gemstone and hid it on Earth.

Only the Void Eclipse Gem remained lost, hidden somewhere in the universe.

Millions of years passed.

The Primordial Gods became legends.

Present Day

Seventeen-year-old Kael Orion lives an ordinary life with his four best friends:

Ryker Blaze, Zane Vortex, Elias Chron, and Darius Titan.

During their school break, they decide to go hiking in the remote Aster Mountains, a place surrounded by old myths about "the mountain where the stars once fell."

After hours of climbing, a sudden earthquake shakes the mountain.

The ground splits open beneath them.

Instead of falling to their deaths, they land inside an enormous underground temple untouched for millions of years.

Ancient walls glow with strange symbols.

At the center of the temple stand five floating crystals, each shining with a different color.

A mysterious voice echoes through the chamber.

"The time has finally come..."

Before anyone can react, each crystal flies toward one of the teenagers.

The Emerald Heart chooses Kael.

The Crimson Inferno chooses Ryker.

The Obsidian Doomstone chooses Zane.

The Azure Chrono Crystal chooses Elias.

The Golden Titan Core chooses Darius.

The moment they touch the gems-

A blinding explosion of divine light erupts from the temple.

Across every universe...

Sleeping gods awaken.

Ancient dragons open their eyes.

Celestial kingdoms ring their war bells.

Hidden cults stop what they're doing.

Somewhere among the stars...

A hooded figure slowly smiles.

"The heirs... have awakened."

Far beyond the known universe...

A black crystal sealed inside a floating prison begins to glow with a faint violet light.

A deep voice echoes from within.

"I can feel them.."

"The Primordial Gods... have returned."

The screen fades to black.

To Be Continued...

lblomme: I always love a story where good overcomes evil. The sad start, the growth, and ultimate strength of the main character was well done. The story never lagged and ultimately delivered a happy ending even for characters who were less than stellar. Well done!

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
