Charlie's Story is a great read.
"I think being listed as just a mystery is denying the author of readership. Normally I don't read "ghost" stories. It is a story of love, happiness, sex and joy. The writing style is excellent! I'm an Aussie and I remember as a child, people talking rhyming slang. Then TV bought Americanisms to both Australia and England, resulting in the loss of that rhyming language. I still use the term "dead horse" (sauce). There were "china plates" (mates) down the "frog and toad" (road). The "milko" delivered the milk. Thank you for a wonderful, most enjoyable read. I look forward to the next book."

The author has created a character who will live long in my memory and who has the most marvellous way withwords. Charlie's Tale is steeped in mystery but feels so very real/ I see it's one of a series and believe me, I want to read them all! A fantastic read in every sense of the word."
