A song for you

Wander the ominous depth of the seven seas, drifting away, seeking my soul. You float and never settle, you sing but no one ever sings back, you express your sadness and glee, yet no one responds, so you embrace the tranquillity. You soon realize, however, the world is full of noise, there are music, conversations, love, hate; they are infinite. But it seems the infinity is only for them, for you it’s a void, a sense of stillness fills the air. You never understood why they ignored you, still, you carry on, looking for a sign of recognition and love.

You are a vagrant of the forbidden land, passing through the Sea of Kalah; staying in the Atlantic Ocean and traversed the Aegean Sea. You witnessed war, peace, blood, and glory, you bear evidence to power heinous and merciless. Civilisations were built and collapsed, lovers lived and died, yet the aching solitude never dissipates. You continuously chant your forsaken song, resenting your soul, and your curse to eternal desolation.

You peregrinate the world to find a solution, seeking compassion and companionship, pursuing your lost soul. As you float through the Arctic wasteland one last time, you finally heard it, a note at 52 hertz; you ascertained that they were always there, you just forgot to listen amidst your chase in the scourge. A melody in 52 hertz, a tune of joy and sorrow, farewell my friend.
