Choices Have Consequences

"Secrets, selfishness and betrayal all have a way standing in the way of truth... truth, which eventually springs forth. At times you want to feel sorry for the characters and others times want to ring their necks. This book is all about duplicitous behavior. A choice .... all it takes is one choice made to bring about consequences that follow these characters throughout their lives. I do hope that Roger finally gets to know the truth. He was partially to blame in all of this too. He withheld something so intimate from his wife that one has to wonder how he could. He also seemed to choose his lifestyle before his marriage. Or maybe he just took his marriage for granted. Again... there are consequences. He needs to know the role he played in his wife's disappearance. Then, there is the fact that a mother's love is delicate but powerful. Hard choices and sacrifices must be made .... right or wrong, Carolyn (Sarah) does the best she knows how to and lives with her choices. I thought this book was complete when I started reading it so was disappointed to find out it is To Be Continued. I look forward to it's completion because it left us with a real cliffhanger."
