Summary

"You're mine now and If you ever try to escape from me, danger will be in your fate. They know you, it's too late to even run away.” Imagine this, "One more step and I swear I'll kill you!" You yelled with your quavering voice. Your hands were shaky, your legs turned weak and unfortunately you were trapped in an unknown empty alley with no one but this psychopath in front of you. "Oh babe, trust me... you won't," He licked his lips alluringly. "Please I'm so sorry!" You begged wanting him to let me go. He laughed bitterly, eyes daggers into your soul as he pressed his body against yours with his arms trapping you in between his hold. "You saw something you weren't suppose to, and I won't ever let this get away," He muttered with his low raspy voice. You stared utterly speechless as his cold hands trailed to my chin, bringing them up to sink into his ocean blue eyes. You know you should have just stayed in the car if this was bound to happen. "You're mine now and If you ever try to escape from me, danger will be in your fate. They know you, it's too late to even run away," He hoarsely said and your heart hammered against your chest rapidly. What does he mean by they? who are the they? You didn't understand by what he meant but you knew your life will change because of this.

Chapter 1

Earlier that day

I sighed, feeling uncomfortable wearing this short red skimpy dress. I was trapped in this hell because of one name, Gazar. He is the brother of my father and I trusted him. He treated me like his own daughter but soon I found out that he was pretending all along and brought me to this place.

A place where horny man rent girls like me to please their needs and I was ashamed. I tried escaping this hell hole but those bulky men guarding the gates were just too frightening and I didn’t want to go through them again.

Even though I’m stuck here, I think I’m the luckiest one because no one had ever rented me before. Maybe it was because I tried looking less appealing, be less flirtatious and hid in the corner everytime a customer arrive?

“Oh my God, He’s the best looking man I’ve seen all day,” My friend, Elara, whom I was only comfortable with, whispered in my ears.

“Another customer?” I asked, wrapping my arms tightly around my waist not bothering to look at the pervetic man.

“Yea... come on, take a glance at him...he is definitely not wrinkly, old and oh my God- he is talking to Gazar,” I scrunched my nose in confusion before craning my neck in curiosity.

My eyes widened slightly as I caught a glimpse of that guy. He was indeed gorgeous. He had his sandy brown hair gelled up in a neat and presentable way. He was wearing a black jet suit that carved the outline shape of his masculine body perfectly. I couldn’t help but stare.

“Quit staring,” Elara nudged me and I came back to my senses.

“Looks like they are talking for such a long time,” I muttered, shifting closer to Elara while taking short glances at the gorgeous guy though something about him screams danger.

My heart jolted out of my chest when he caught me staring at him. I snapped my gaze away as my cheeks reddened, feeling embarrassed. He muttered something to Gazar and Gazar seem to look confused. I could feel Gazar’s strong gaze making my skin crawl.

“I’m scared,” Elara softly mumbled.

“Don’t worry, They won’t hurt you...” I reassured but I was quite unsure too, “No matter what, you’ll still be back here... since the customers can only rent you-”

“No, I’m talking about you- they’re looking at you while they were having their conversation.”

A lump of saliva caught in my throat. Nervousness rushed through my veins, I shouldn’t have looked at him and made him uncomfortable.

“They’re coming,” Elara said in an audible whisper.

I heard their shoes unceasingly tapping on the dusty grey floors. My heart skipped a beat everytime they got closer to us.

“Girls, Meet Mr Zacherie Archiston, he’s one of the most charming men, not to say richest too, in town and he is going to rent one of you for two months,” Gazar said and I could hear some of the girls were gossiping and giggling. What was so good about him? Yes, he’s charming but he will use one of us anyway for his needs.

My eyes were glued to the ground, not caring what Gazar had to say. It was his job and I wished I had known about it sooner.

“How about her?” Gazar spoke pointing at the girl in the corner.

“I told you, I want her,” His voice was low and demanding, making some girls to swoon over him.

“Sophia,” Elara nudged forcefully making me stumble slightly.

I looked at her in irritation before widening my eyes when I saw the guy pointing directly at me.

“I’m sure we can choose-”

“No, I want her,” He snapped before looking at me dead in the eyes.

“I’m sorry-”

“A million dollars.” He said and Gazar widened his eyes in astonishment, “What?” He managed to choke out the words.

“A million dollars for her,” This Zacherie guy repeated, looking at me with sharp eyes.

I shifted uncomfortably. Out of all the girls, he had to choose me? And for a million dollars? Why me?!

“Fine, It’s a deal then,” Gazar had his huge grin plastered across his face and I stared at him with hurt. How could he?

“What?” I croaked.

“Sorry honey, but the deal had been made,” Gazar turned to look at me with his triumphant grin.

“You can wait for her to get ready-”

“No, she’s coming with me now,” Zach demanded.

Gazar arched a brow, “Why do you want her so badly?” he asked, a tinge of suspicion lace in his tone.

Zach smirked, “Sex, of course,” he simply said, not feeling ashamed of his words.

“Right...” Gazar nodded his head understandably, “But make sure you bring her back after two months.”

Zach nodded while taking a glance at me, “Of course, Gazar... I keep my words.”

“Good, You can take her away then.” He said, not looking at me instead grinning at the sum of money that was in the suitcase given by Zach’s fellow “guard”.

Zach eyed me from up to bottom, “Follow me,” His voice sounded chilly. I was hesitant, “Uncle you can’t do this!” I blurted out and Gazar snapped his fiery eyes on me, jaw clenching.

“Listen to your new partner now,” Gazar said through gritted teeth with his deadly eyes.

I lowered my gaze, I didn’t dare to say another word before looking back at Zach. He was staring at me with a blank expression, he just didn’t care.

I turned my head to look at Elara who had tears brimmed in her eyes, “See you in two months,” She mouthed.

As I was about to reply her, I got tugged by Zach with his cold fingers loop around my wrist roughly. I winced, stumbling as I followed his pace.

“Y-you’re hurting me,” I stuttered softly as we came to the exit door.

He paused in his track, loosening his grip as he watched me, “Then walk.”

He stared as I went up the rusty staircase to the exit door, following behind me. The cool breeze fans against my skin as I stepped out of the door. I miss this. It’s been so long since I got to see the outside world and that hits me.

I could escape.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters.
