As Jimin slowly opened his delicate eyes, he felt the itch of grass around his physique. When he had completely gained consciousness of his body he felt himself rise and managed to see the terrain surrounding him.
With a great effort he hauled himself off the grass floor and looked round in confusion, he had to be dreaming, this couldn’t be real. Could it? He felt the ache of his muscles and the strain of his mind, but his senses were completely new to his weary body. As he fluttered his eyes back into their resting closed position, he tried to grasp the reality of his position. He counted to ten in the hope that when he opened them he would be in the familiar surrounding of his bedroom, not in a dreamland. Convinced that it had worked he opened his eyes, but, to his dismay he was still trapped in the plain of grass and flowers. It’s all he could see, no trees, shrubs, just grass and flowers.
The semi picturesque scene was so dull he had to blink multiple times to bring himself back to reality. Had he’d been in a different circumstance he would of found it interesting to view the unusual landscape, but he was so confused and out of place he couldn’t find the curiosity to question the area surrounding him.
Then he suddenly realised that was trapped here with no water, food or shelter. He looked down at his soft, pale, flesh covered hands and imagined that the flesh had thinned and his bones were visible due to starvation. His thought seemed so real he thought, for a split second that it had actually happened, in real life. But, he brought his senses together and saw his hand as he had always seen them. Normal.
Out of curiosity he took one step, away form his original position, and, immediately saw the grass around his feet die and shrivel up at his step. He quickly resumed his original position and felt the steady beat of his heart increase rapidly for the first time. Questions raced through his head and he kept staring at his the place grass had been just seconds ago. He took another experimental two strides forward, and it had the same effect, damaging the turf.
Jimin grew even more scared as he saw the pasture around him change and rise, in a spiritual fashion, around him. He was trembling, trapped underneath a dome of earth swirling around him, the darkness reflected how he felt. Isolated, confused and alone.
He collapsed onto the floor in utter despair and curled up and sobbed. He sobbed and cried out to whoever would listen, if there even was anyone to listen, he cried in anguish and pain. It was at this moment he decided he hated the world. It had left him alone and vulnerable in this dull, dismal place. Anger twisted it way around his heart and seeped into every vein, replacing and sorrow he had previously felt.
He slowly lifted his head and his eyes met, no dirt, no grass, no flowers. Just an arid, barren desert. He ran his now dry hand through his soft blonde hair, and as he surveyed the land in front of him he felt that wave of enmity comeback to him. And, just as he felt the urge to act upon his feelings, he saw, in the distance a huge crack three meters wide and who knows how deep racing towards him; and stopping at his feet.
He peered down the gorge that appeared to have no end, and he felt a sudden desire to see. Does it have an end?
He felt his feet starting to take the step towards the unknown. He quickly readjusted his posture. Almost embarrassed that he would even think of jumping, but why, why was he so self conscious if there was no one to judge him? Why did his previous feeling of fury disappear and vanish just like that.
And just when he was distracted, questioning his erratic behaviour the crack formed a circle around him and left Jimin stranded in his own thoughts and confusion. When he had realised the consequence of his neglection of the land he looked fearfully down into the dark abyss. He looked to the mainland where he longed so much to be. But, he knew it was pointless trying to fight the world surrounding him, so he took one last look at the desolate stretch and took a long stride into the endless void.
He felt the adrenaline rush as his body plunged down and fell into the unknown.
However, it suddenly came to a stop and the decrescendo was painfully anticlimactic. In a way he felt as though he had hit water and was sinking into the depths of the ocean, however he felt no pain and no moisture against his soft skin. He calmed and went into a trance of tranquility and serenity, he lost all sense of time and feeling as he shut his heavy lidded eyes and fell into a deep sleep. He was falling softly and landed back onto the slightly damp grass.
Once again the opened his gentle eyes to recognise the familiar landscape that was surrounding him, his head hit the ground in defeat and he lay there in melancholy misery, until his eye caught sight of something to his left. For the first time he had seen something truly beautiful, it was a lone cherry blossom. Innocent and pure and a light shade of pastel pink.
And, it was now that Jimin understood the various events that had occurred. This world was a reflection of his mind it was all black and white, just like his life. His thoughts reflected what happened to the land and this blossom was a..
He slowly turned around knowing what he would see. Instead of the cherry blossom, standing there with his raven black hair and chiseled jaw was Jungkook. The person who had made his life heaven and hell. The love his life.
