Chapter 1

“As I sit here, typing to you, I feel as though i’m being watched. I’m my own home I feel unsafe. It’s not right...”

“You’ll be fine. It’s probably nothing.”

“Nothing? How can you say that? My stomach is in knots, it’s making me feel sick.”

“Just get some rest. You’re probably over tired. I mean you haven’t slept properly in days.”

“I suppose you’re right. Night.”

“Good night. Text me if you wake up.”

“Will do.”

I lay back in bed sighing as I listen to the soft tapping of fresh rain on my roof. I inhale deeply through my nose catching the smell of the oncoming storm. I hang my arm out of my partually open window, feeling the crule coldness of the water. Nothing. My mind repeats in attempt to illiminate the gut renching feeling ripping at my sences.

I sigh closing my eyes welcoming the heavyness of my eyelids. The cold breeze blows gently through my window, brushing a few stray strands of hair from my face. Soon enough I feel my body sink into my bed and the knot in my stomach unties- no, loosens-. I welcome the dark void of my subconcious mind as I drift into a long-awaited slumber.
