Prologue: Song Misun
I looked at the keys in my hand and closed my fingers over it as I looked up at the huge mansion in front of me- my new home. I smiled. My mother manages this house but she doesn’t live here. She said that I could live here until I get further in Photography. I pulled the handle from my suitcase and walked to the door to open it. When I had walked in, I wasn’t sure which looked more beautiful- the inside or outside? There was a grand staircase with a little lounge on the right side of me. It was quiet, and it looked like nobody was here.
I began to make my way to my room and left my suitcase in it so I could unpack later. I looked in the mirror and dusted my black skirt off. I was wearing that with a tan turtleneck and my signature elliot glasses, with my black leather boots that went just below my knee. I smiled at myself and walked out towards the stairs, brushing my hand on the railing. When I heard the door open, I looked down and saw the door open, revealing a man standing there. He had a red flannel shirt on with black skinny jeans, a black beanie, and red converse, also carrying a red and black gym bag. When he had closed the door behind him he looked up and saw me looking down at him and his eyes widened.
“W-Who are you?” he asked, “Only residents are allowed in here.”
“I live here now, I’m Song Misun,” I gave him a warm smile, “I’m sorry that I scared you.” He smiled slightly, walking slowly to the other side.
“It’s okay… do you need help with anything?” he asked and I shook my head.
“I’m good, thank you,” I said, “But don’t mind me, I’m just looking around-”
“Wait! Uh- let me show you around, just let me quickly put this in my room-” He dashed up the stairs and I just went along with it and followed him. He looked so excited, I just couldn’t say no. He closed the door behind him and came back out as fast as he went inside.
“Okay, let’s go,” He walked away from his door with me following him, it was quiet for a moment before Jungkook spoke again, “Where are you from?”
“I was born in Busan, but I moved to Daegu when I started college.” I replied and he looked back at me.
“I’m from Busan too.” I smiled, I loved Busan- the water, the people- I was sorta sad when I moved, but that allowed me to get one step closer to my dream- becoming a photographer.
“Really? That’s cool.”
“One my friends is also from Daegu- he lives here actually, but I don’t think he’s home right now- this is the cleaning closet.” He points to a small door and stops, opening it so I could see everything inside before continuing to walk. And before I knew it-
He shows me the entire mansion!
This allows me to get to know him more, he’s very nice, but a little shy. I can tell everyone has a lot of fun with him and he’s very caring, sweet- everyone’s ideal type. He’s very cute, so whoever he’s dating right now must be lucky.
And before I knew it, he had shown me the entire place. As we walked back to where we started. A door opened up, revealing two other guys. One had bright red hair and was wearing a black turtleneck, leather jacket, and black skinny jeans. One had nicely styled blonde hair, with a black shirt and a cargo jacket, with black skinny jeans, and black converse. The one with red hair looked up at me with shock, while the other one looked at me with no emotion.
“Jungkook, is this your girlfriend?” Jimin laughed, “Finally!” I looked at Jungkook and he turned red quickly.
“N-No, she’s the new neighbor.” I looked back at the red-haired guy, and he had a warm, friendly smile on his face.
“Hey, I’m Park Jimin. I live here as well,” he told me, and he pointed at the other guy that had followed him up the stairs, “This is Min Yoongi- he takes a minute to warm up to strangers, but he’s a good guy.” I smiled and waved and he said nothing, but he waved back. He kinda looked scary.
“Does that mean you’ll join us for dinner tonight?” Jimin asked me and I nodded happily, before remembering that I hadn’t introduced myself.
“My name is Song Misun, I moved here from Daegu.” I held my hand out and he gladly shook it. I usually go by american customs after I had failed to get a job in America after I graduated college.
“What a coincidence, Yoongi is from Daegu-” He looked at Yoongi, and so did I and he flashed a small smile, Jimin got closer to my ear “He loves that place, maybe later you can ask him about it.” I nodded.
“I’ll keep that in mind.” I said.
“Now me, Jungkook, and Yoongi have to talk about some stuff from work, we’ll see you later.” I smiled.
“Okay.” They all walked off and I went to my room to unpack.
