Bruises

I walk downstairs limping because of what happened yesterday

I came home a 5 minutes late...Next thing I knew he was punching me and kicking me

I was walking down stairs and heard a huge slam coming from the kitchen

I walk-well limp to the kitchen to find my dad throwing plates on the ground

“D-dad...” I grab his hand to stop him from throwing another one but he ends up throwing me to the floor making me hit my head against the counter

“Shut the HELL up! You ruined EVERYTHING! You killed my wife! You did nothing but bring sadness and anger upon my life!!!” He slaps me in the face

“You should have NEVER been born!” Slap.

Yell.Punch.Yell.Slap.Yell.Kick. Repeat.

That’s all I get. These 15 years of my life. These 15 PATHETIC years of my life.

The only time I actually get to go out is during school hours

Speaking of school...I have to go in 10 min

I slowly get up and push my dad out of the way and head towards the door while limping

“Y\N! GET BACK OVER HERE!!!”

I hear my dad screaming my name as I rush out of the door with my stuff and running to school

I hear his voice going softer and softer as I go further away

“I am going to get a big punishment when I go back” I sigh and continue running because I am a few minutes late to class

I limp into class trying to catch my breath

“Your late again Y/n...This is the 5th time this week..” Mrs. Jung says

“S-sorry Ms....I won’t be late again ^-^” I say still trying to catch my breath

“*sigh* You said that the last time you came late...Just take your seat Ms. Seok " She sighs

“T-thank you Mrs. Jung..” I sigh trying to wipe my tears and sweat

“GoodMorning Y/n-ah ^-^” I look to the left of me and see Jungkook

He is the reason why I want to stay alive.... He has always been there for me... Although he doesn’t know about my dad... He just knows that I have bruises and cuts everywhere...He thinks I am a boxer though...He is the only friend that I have...He doesn’t judge me at all..In everything I do...He stays by my side~ I love him...As a brother of course...And he loves me as a sister

“G-goodmorning J-Jungkook....” I try my best not to stutter but I fail

“Omo..Y/n-ah...You have bruises on your face and arms...You also have cuts..” Jungkook looks at me with sad eyes

“It’s okay Kookie~ It’s nothing~” I say to him

“They look fresh though....I should take you to the nurser...” Jungkook raises his hand and tells the teacher that we are going to the nurse’s office

“I-it’s okay Jungkook....” I say as he drags me down the hall as I try to pry my hand out of his

“Aish..You are so stubborn Y/n-shi..” He stopped walking and let go of my hand

“Okay let’s go ba-AH!” I scream as I feel him pick me up

“Okay let’s go~” He said while running towards the nurse’s office

“AISH! JEON JUNGKOOK PUT ME DOWN!!” I say hitting his back but soon regretting it because my hands are cut and bruised from blocking the hits from my dad

“Jungkook please go to your next class..I need to speak to Y

.” The nurse excuses Jungkook and shuts the door when he leaves

“Y/n....What did he do this time?” The nurse looks at me

“I-I came home 5 minutes late and h-he was at home waiting with a b-belt....He b-beat me t-till he fell asleep...I can’t stay there anymore Auntie...” I say with teary eyes

Yes, the nurse is my aunt...She knew about the beatings since I was 10 but she couldn’t do anything..She only heals my wounds...She tried to take me once but failed because my dad is friends with the judge in the court... I just want freedom...

“It’s okay Y/n...Endure it a little bit more...I am trying my best to convince the judge...Just a little bit more okay Y/n?” She said while wiping my tears

I nod and hug her

“Thank you Auntie...” I kiss her cheek and exit the room

“Awww poor Y/n...Looking like a slob~ Like always~” I turn to my left to see the schools badboys

“S-sorry...” I say while backing up slowly

“Why are you sorry?” I look up slowly but not fully so they won’t see my bruises to see Taehyung in front of me with a smirk

They always do this to me... They say something and then I need to apologize for it

I hiss in pain as I feel him pat my bruise on my head

“I-I am...Ugly...” A tear glides down my cheek

“Mm....Lift up your head” he grabs my chin for me to look up but I push it away

“N-no...” another tear glides down

“I said to look Damn it!” He pulls my face up and a shocked expression appears on his face

Luckily he was blocking the view from the other members...

“What’s wrong Taehyung-Ah~ You blinded by her ugliness? HAHAHAHA” Yoongi says and everyone except me and Taehyung laugh

“Shut up Yoongi.” He said sternly

“Omo? What’s wrong Daesung?” Hoseok starts walking closer

“Stay there Hoseok..” Taehyung puts his hand up to stop the boy from coming any closer

You would think they saw bruises on me before but nope~ The nurse would cover them up easily but this time she could not cover it up because she ran out of gauze and medicine so she put ointment on me..

Tears spring from the ends of my eyes

“S-s-sorry....” I say lifting up my hand to wipe my tears but his hand comes up

I thought he was going to hit me so I flinched

But instead he wipes my tears away

“Go...” He says while pushing me away but not to harsh like he usually does

“Taehyung. Why are you letting her go?” Jimin comes up behind him and asks him

“Let her be for today.” He says as he turns around and leaves

Y/n’s P.O.V

I am walking to my job but stopped when I see a little boy in front of me

“Hello~” I wave down to him

“Hi Noona....” He looks up at me and waves

“What are you doing here again Jiyong?” I say while lifting him up

“I ran away again...” He says and looks down

“Is eomma and appa fighting again?” I ask him

It kind of hurts to be holding him right now but I love him~ He is another reason why I like living

“Yeah...Appa threw a lamp at her and she started screaming louder...I climbed out of the window from my room..” He said still looking down

“It’s okay Jiyong...You want to come to work with me again?” I ask and he smiles

“YEAH! I like going to work with noona but the other noona’s pinch me cheek and the Hyungs feed me~”

I laugh at his cuteness

He looks up and finally notices the bruises

“Noona what happened to your face? There are purple spots and red streaks!” He said a little worried

“Oh it’s okay~ I’m fine~ I fought a big monster this morning~ That is why I have these” I say looking a bit tough

“Did you fight them like how you fought the monsters?” He asks
