Prologue
Genesis 6:1 to 6:6
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
And the LORD said, “My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.”
There were giants on the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
And the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.”
Book of Enoch
Of the Egregoroi (Watchers), Samyaza, an angel of high rank, led a rebel sect of angels in a descent to Earth to mate with human females.
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.’ And Semyaza, who was their leader, said unto them: ‘I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.’
And they all answered him and said: ‘Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.’ Then swear did them all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon.–
(PRELUDE: JUDGEMENT BY FLAME)
Alas came Pyriel in all his majesty, he was no Watcher, he was not possessed of special talents and he was not given to any intellectual pursuits or knowledge found to be forbidden to the minds of men. His talents and purity lay in one avenue alone; he was a soldier in the truest sense. He bore no ill will to those he was ordained to take from the Earth but neither would he broker any deal, offer any respite or amnesty. He would carry out his order without fail, without fear, and with overwhelming love for his Lord if necessary he would bring about horrors no mortal could fathom or truly understand. His holy flames of judgment would fall upon his prey and his guide would be his millennium of martial experience (war time experience). Only the Archangel Gabriel carried more wrath than Pyriel amongst the Angelic host although it was rumored that the first of the Fallen Lucifer carried equal wrath to Gabriel and that was just one of his many abilities. Pyriel cared not for he was a true instrument of the Lord and as such it was by his hand that those whom carried Nephilim blood were slain and their souls sent back to God for release from eternal sin.
Over all and throughout history Nephilim were both a source of inspiration and dark intentions. They carried some of the strengths and abilities of angels along with the free will and fierce spirit of man. It was with these capabilities in mind that Pyriel was set loose upon the world. Relentless, powerful, immortal, and bearing a faith in the word that was beyond reproach. Pyriel’s first act was to rid the earth of two hundred rebel ‘Watcher Angels’. Guilty of spreading forbidden knowledge and being the source of the original Nephilim they were marked from the start for decimation in the name of God.
Pyriel stepped foot upon the land of Cain and slaughtered all but the ten rebel angels whom had led each group of angels. Their leaders were damned to roam the Earth till judgment day as disembodied spirits destined to lead those whom would follow them to ruin. Pyriel’s blade lanced into the chest of Samyaza the angel whom had originally begun this treacherous act, his fellow Watchers had come forth either bearing their heads to accept blame or using sorcery to defy their fates till the very end. None of the Fallen stood a chance against an Angel of War, and they knew it. Azazel was the staunchest in his defiance of his fate and called upon the first and most powerful of the fallen to ever exist to grant him one boon against Pyriel. Lucifer granted his request in spades and took Azazel’s spirit and granted it special powers all his own. Ensnared by Azazel and Lucifer without knowing it Pyriel carries on his duty to this very day.
There is a hidden world that exists parallel to our own, ordinary people successfully blot it out from the time puberty begins. Up until that point and sometimes beyond anyone can bear witness to it, a select portion of the population actually live within this world. Some are chosen by blood, some are chosen by fate, most are victims of circumstance. Everyone can attest by myths, fables, movies, and folklore to a general knowledge of were – beings, vampires, faeries, demigods, and spirits. What few would ever understand is how close they were to the actual fantasy or supernatural. The hidden world lies seemingly just beneath the very grasp of man. Like the seats children sit in and stuck beneath those very seats was old bubblegum.
The supernatural are among us and sometimes an actual part of our lives for some in their very blood. Most people have been taken in by society and have walled their minds off to the possibility of the supernatural. This is a story of a boy born to a fate beyond anyone’s imagination and pushed beyond his understanding to do things he would never have done as a normal human being. This is a story of a time of awakening where vengeance is unleashed and understanding is realized.
