Prologue
“Go away... stay, stay away from me!” Genesis woke up from her nightmares, suffering, “No, no, no...”
“Gene ah!” Jin Woo came barging in her room face full of concern, “again? Nightmares again?”
“It’s so scary, I can’t, can’t breath. I... I...”
“Is okay Gene, you’ll be fine. You’re okay now. Everything will be alright.” he pulls her in and gives her a tight hug.
She trembles in Jin Woo’s arm, eyes shut tightly. As if her actions can chase bad things away. It hurts him to see his little cousin in pain, but there is nothing that they can do. Medications are useless to Genesis.
What haunts her is not the non-existent nightmares, it’s the monster that lives inside her mind, body and soul.
Maybe, only an angel can save her.
