A day in the life
Beep beep beep
That was the one sound I couldn’t stand, my alarm clock, it was so loud and annoying but I really needed it or else I would be late to that hell called school.
If I’m going, to be honest, I’m good in school I get A’s and B’s, you know, decent grades but there is one thing I hate about school.
The people
If your wondering I have no friends. it’s sad I know but there’s nothing I can do about it. My old best friend Claire had decided that popularity was more important than her best friend of 10 years. To make a long story short she told everyone my biggest secrets and I ended up getting bullied.
That was when I was a freshman, now it’s my first day of senior year.
I slowly dragged myself out of bed, groaning as I did so because the light pouring in through my window was burning my eyes. I quickly jumped in the shower, loving the feeling of the hot water coating my skin, after that, I got out, brushed my teeth, dried my hair and walked towards my closet. I dramatically opened my closet doors and grabbed a pair of black jeans and a red long sleeved shirt.
Even your arms are ugly I thought as I walked downstairs.
"Finally, I thought I was going to have to go up there and wake your dumb ass up" my mom complained.
I sighed and walked towards the fridge to grab an apple. "Oh, would you look at that the pig is eating something healthy."
I ignored her and walked to the front door to grab my bag and put on my black converse, "Have a shitty day fat ass" my mom said right as I closed the door. I held back my tears as I walked towards the bus that was waiting for me at the corner of the street but before I got there the bus drove off... guess I'm walking.
15 minutes later I was standing in front of the school, watching as people hugged their friends and discussed schedules.
I was about the walk up the big set of stairs before I heard the big roar of an engine, I slowly turned around and saw a black Lamborghini pull into a parking spot near the front of the school. Everyone was dead silent as they waited to see who would walk out of the car. I, on the other hand, didn't want to find out so I quickly turned around and ran towards the front office.
"Hello dear, how can I help you?" the office lady asked. She seemed sweet.
"Ugh c-could I please have my s-schedule?" oh my god she probably thought I was pathetic because of my stupid stutter.
"Of course dear, can I get your name?" she said while wearing a big smile, I was starting to feel uncomfortable. I just wanted to get to class.
"Blue Major," i said without stuttering. She smiled as she handed me the schedule,
"Have a nice day sweetheart" she called as I practically sprinted out of the office, "you too" I mumbled.
Let's have a look at my schedule I thought.
First period- AP English
Second period- Spanish
Lunch
Third period- Algebra
Fourth period- Art
I looked up and saw a group of girls laughing and pointing at me while they stood by their lockers, with a deep breath I walked towards my first class English.
It was now lunch and I was walking towards the park benches outside, farthest away from everyone, I had been sitting here every lunch period since freshman year... all alone, but honestly, I didn't mind, I liked being alone.
