You Must Read While This is Still Free
"This is what I’m looking for in the world of novels. This piece is a rare gem that we have the privilege of reading for free. Lovely depiction of OCD. I hope to be able to write with such wit and incredible flow someday. Don’t even get me started on how incredibly skillfully written— I think this is a great introduction to realistic portrayals of complex addiction behaviours, and something many authors and readers can and should learn to understand. Jenny is your typical clean-freak mainstream “OCD-r” that we think of when we think OCD— but we get to see the obsessive thought process that plagues her. And that is truly the core of this disorder. It makes a great intro to debunking our own understandings of OCD. Maybe someone well versed in addiction/OCD might find this rote. But this is an important read for those unfamiliar or are plain tired of inaccurate, one dimensional depictions of addiction and OCD. I hope this gets televised or a movie someday. You deserve the world’s audience. -Arienne "
