“Mom please just one ice-cream, I promise I will be my mamma’s good boy” said a 3 year old boy with a puppy dog eye.

“Oh Lakshya sweety, you always win with those puppy dog eyes, its not fair, I really have to learn to say no to them” said the boy’s mother to herself

“Like that will ever happen” said the husband of that lady walking from behind them, he took his son from his arms and kissed his son and wife on their forehead.

“You will never be able to refuse him anything love....not in this life at least” he said holding back his laugh.

“Like you are any better. This little one has you wrapped around his little finger.” She said with a smile

“Ya that’s true too, after all you two are the only people I live for” he said hugging his son and his wife close to him.

The couple walked away to fill the wishes of their little monster.

All the while along a beautiful little girl was sitting on the bench and watching the couple with their son.

“What has caught the interest of my little Arzoo that she is not even listening to the princess story her grand mother is telling her” asked a lady in her 70′s.

“Grandma, why don’t mom and dad come with me to park. Don’t they love me? am i not a good girl?” asked a 2 year old Arzoo to her grandma.

Her grandma didn’t reply her just right away as she did not know how to answer her innocent question without hurting her.

“No sweetheart, of course they love you. You are a very good girl. It’s just that your parents are busy building a magical fort for their princess so they are busy. Once they build it they will always be with you.” Told her grandmother trying to protect the little girls feelings from the harsh reality.

“But they always go out with bhai but not me” she again asked not understanding the discriminating behavior of her parents towards her.

“Its because Zayn is more notorious than you are and so they have to be with him to save him from getting into any trouble.”

“Now who wants to eat ice-cream” said the old lady trying to distract the girl from getting further on this topic.

“Meeee” said the little girl getting excited and the two walked to the ice-cream shop hand in hand

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

“So what will my little monster have” asked the little boys mother

“I will have a chocolate chip ice cream” boy told in an excited voice.

“Chocolate chip ice cream it is for my little man” said his dad placing an order for the ice cream for his son.

Standing beside the couple was Arzoo and her grandmother.

“So princess what will be It today” her grandma ask

“I want a chocolate chip ice-cream” the girl said in excited voice.

“Ohk, here we go” and the old lady placed the order for her lovely granddaughter

While they were waiting for their order to arrive they suddenly heard a voice

“Hey savita how are you” said another old lady t Arzoo’s grandmother

“I’m fine, how are you Sanvi. I heard your son got married?”

“Ya he did, come I will introduce you to my daughter-in-law, she is here too. They are sitting right there” she told.

“Oh sure” Arzoo’s grandma turned to her and said

“Princess I will be right back. But promise me that you will be a good girl and sit here and eat your ice-cream while gandma is away and go nowhere. Promise”

“I promise gandma I won’t go anywhere” Arzoo promised her gandma

“I will be right back princess” said her grandma and walked away with her friend

A little later, while Lakshya was eating his ice-cream he heard someone sobbing. He looked around and saw a little girl crying. She looked like princess and he did not like her crying

As his mom and dad were talking to someone from business a little distance from there. Lakshya jumped down from his chair and went to that girl and asked

“Why are you crying?”

She pointed towards the floor with her tiny fingers which had spilled chocolate chip ice-cream on it.

Lakshya did not wanted that girl to cry so he went back to his table and bought his bucket of chocolate chip ice-cream and sat next to her

“Hey you can have mine. Please don’t cry” he said brushing away her tears.

The girl smiled and said thank you and started eating from his bucket.

“What is your name?” Lakshya asked

“My name is Arzoo.” Arzoo replied shyly

“My name is Lakshya.” Lakshya told her

After she ate the ice-cream she smiled at Lakshya and said

“Thank you”

“You are welcome princess.” Lakshya said felling happy that his princess was not crying anymore

“But how do you know I’m a princess” asked Arzoo

“Because you look like princess” Lakshya said with his childish innocence.

All along Lakshya’s mom and dad were watching them and his dad said to his mom

“I think our prince has found his princess” and hugged his wife kissing her forehead

After a while when Arzoo’s grandma came, Lakshya said bye to Arzoo and left with his parents.

Both went home with a beautiful smile on their face.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
