The Wolves End

Luna’s P.O.V

I kept running, wolves cries ringing in my ears. I didn’t know where Karly was but I didn’t stop, never looking back, I started to hear bones cracking behind me,

They must be eating Karly. I thought as the sounds got louder, then a memory came back, I tried to hold it back but I couldn’t.

Emma came at me and pushed me to the ground, “You know, if you keep on being a piece of shit then the Night will get you and they’ll rip you to shreds, and then everyone here will be happy because you’re gone.” She said.

“No they won’t because they’ll be ripping you to shreds and if I do go down like that they my parents will miss me.” I stated and stood up knowing that my last comment wasn’t true at all.

Then a giant pain came across my face, I looked at her and realised that she slapped me. I jump on her and start punching her in the face and pulling her hair, when the teacher finally pulled me off her; she looked like a blueberry that was leaking blood. I shoved the teacher off and walked away.

I kept running when I looked up and saw people above me, once they saw that I noticed them they started to jump down one by one, and chase after me,

I knew something was off about people inviting me to a party, I thought scolding myself for being an idiot.

I could see the street now, as long as I can make it to the street I’ll be safe. But then one of them jumped onto me causing me to go flying onto the ground, they turned me over and looked at me, I peered into the guys mind and saw that his name was Jason, I roll my eyes at him and sit up pushing him off me,

“Really, Jason.” I say and stand up, they all put their weapons up at me while Jason gets up,

“Okay, the rest of you, can put the damn weapons down or I shoot is brains out.” I say and point my gun; that I hid in my jacket, at Jason.

As Jason gets up I keep my gun at the same level as his head,

“Hold it, who are you and how the hell do you know my name?” he asked, his piecing blue-Grey Eyes staring at me, I look around me and see that none of the others have put their weapons down.

“Okay A. I’m not telling you nothing, Jason. And B. Didn’t I say before to put your damn weapons down.” I say anger in my eyes, Jason looks at them and nods, they slowly put their weapons down,

“Now either you let me leave or I shoot your sniper in the bushes.” I say now pointing my gun at the bush, everyone starts to laugh,

“you know, I don’t know why your laughing, I mean you wouldn’t want poor, Umm now what is his name again, ah yes Peter, to get hurt now would you? Peter I want you to come out of the bush and slowly walk towards me.” I said and then looked towards everyone else, their faces were pale

“And if anyone grabs or reaches for a weapon I’ll shoot the guys brains out. Now Peter come slowly out of the bush.” I say and turn towards the bush, it started move and shake, and out came a guy, piecing bright blue eyes and blonde hair with little blue tips in it, he walked towards me,

“Wait, grab the gun and the knife in your shoe and throw them away.” I say, he throws the gun and knife away and walks towards me,

“Now, turn towards the street and start walking.” I stated, he looks at me with a shocked and scared look in his eyes,

“Don’t worry I won’t make you cross over onto the street, but I have to get out.” I say to him, he nods at me and starts walking, I looked around and saw that everyone had stayed back there,

“So who are you?” he asks,

“A person who doesn’t want to die.” I say, something about this guy smelt weird, well more like similar but also very different,

“Did the people back there kill Karly?” I asked,

“I’m sorry I can’t answer that.” He states and then sighs

“let me guess you’re the only sane person with those people,” I say he nods and laughs a little, and then looks frightened, I look up and we are at the street, I turn him around so he is facing the people back there, and push him so he can’t reach me if he tries to turn around and grab me, and I run onto the street.

I race back home (if I can even call it that), open the door and lock it behind me, Jake was on the couch with another girl hooking up,

gross couldn’t of they done that in his room, I thought and walked up to my room.

I opened the door and walked over to my bed and laid down, I look around and see my red walls with a black tree on the middle wall and its branches stretching out along the walls. I got up and put my gun in the hidden compartment that in my drawers and I opened my window and climbed up onto the roof, I laid down and looked up and tried to see some of the stars but there was too much light around me for me to see them.

I sighed and climbed back into my room, I got changed into some Pyjama shorts and a singlet, and hopped into bed and hear loud noises coming from down stairs, I sigh a little and turned on my light and walked down stairs, I see them on the couch still, I cough a little and they look up,

“Hey I’m home can you guys take this upstairs to your room Jake, where it’s soundproof and I can’t hear. Thank you.” I said and walked over to the kitchen and grabbed the popcorn and made heaps of it (yum), I walk back up to my room and turn on my computer; I put Danger in the Woods on and turned off my lights then snuggle up and watch the movie.

Once Danger in the Woods ended, I looked over at my clock and saw it was 11:30pm, I groaned and turn off my computer, and laid down, and looked out the window the stars began to glimmer and shine brighter, and sleep consumed me.
