The beginend / Foreword
While every story starts with the beginning, mine begins with the end. The end, where my breath is stuck in my throat, where I suffocate, drown and burn up in flames. The major famous heartbreak, that’s what they call it. I feel surrounded by shadows, darkness and the sounds of shattering hearts. How can a story that starts with the end ever turn out into something good.
Let me introduce myself first. My name is Victoria. People call me Vic. I was born a humanAlien. I am one of those people who gets lost in this world. One of those people who sound a bit crazy whenever they get excited, the ones who love the sound of sunrise and sunset, they who chase snowflakes in a snowstorm and dream away with smiles and coffee. One of those people who doesn’t understand the world and the people living in it. I’m sure you know someone like me, or maybe you are just one of us...
I have been wandering around this planet to find my folk, my culture or my race. I looked in every corner, behind every tree and under every rock, but I failed every attempt.
Ever since I can remember, I fell in love with the rise of the sun and the glittering sparkle in transparent rainbows. I believe it’s mother nature telling us that after darkness, the sun will rise again and that during heavy rainfall, beauty hides in little corners. I know the moon sings a lullaby to me every night about love and infinitive hope on Earth.
There were a million of reasons I fell in love with her, and one of them was the sunset in her eyes. Now tell me, did I lost her forever?
