Follow Ari and Dri as they find unlikely love despite danger, betrayal, and separation. I am not a grammar know-it-all, but the reading was smooth. "

Amusing in all aspects
"I loved reading this novel! This was the first one I read on Inkitt. I usually avoided the scifi genre though because I thought I couldn't visualize the scenes much and the jargon was usually confusing. I just gave this one a shot and it definitely took me by surprise at how easy it was for me to see the story come to life. The action scenes were my favorite parts. Just so you know, the female protagonist wasn't portrayed as a dainty princess (regardless of her so called "fishy handicap") so if you're up for seeing an independent woman(mermaid) show her skills then you wouldn't want to miss reading this. Morgan, on the other hand, was a true gentleman that showed chivalry, brilliance and quite some humor. I just admired how both of these characters played out. Thornsberry, the author, was also very creative with the settings it took place and the other characters that played major roles. There was never a dull moment. Don't be surprised though if you feel the pacing was too fast. It's a given since the page numbers were few and the story had a lot in it. It's a good quick read though. I really did not expect how much I enjoyed reading this one."
