Introduction
She stood up and made her way from behind the desk where she was sitting. She threw her sunglasses on because she could not let him see her eyes. She wanted him to see her cool and collected, stone and hard and she knew if he looked her in her eyes she would melt. She knew that he could see right through her and always have. The heel of Ebony's stilettos hit the cement floor and echoed through the room.
She stopped in front of the man standing there being held by the two guards and with a stern voice she said, "Kill him." As she walked away.
The man swallowed hard and with a deep harsh voice said, "Ebony Essence Trevor!"
Ebony's mind wheeled with emotions upon hearing him say her name because only he can call her by her full name and bring about emotions in her.
She walked over to him and with a harsh but quiet voice she says to him, "You have lost the right to call me by that name after betraying me and trying to ruin everything my father have lived for." "So don't you dare." She said through gritted teeth.
He smiled a little than said, " I did not betray you, all I did and will continue to do is to protect you."
Ebony could not help but laugh. "Protect me!" She exclaimed. Ebony looked in the man's eyes she knew he was telling her the truth, she knew he would never hurt or ruin her, but his actions went too far in her book and she could not let anyone go that far, especially after having to fight so hard to protect her father's business.
During the hard silence between the two, Selena walks into the office, "Ebony whatever you are thinking stop it right now."
"You know exactly who Marcus is and how he feels about you, so stop it right now." She said sternly.
Ebony walked over to Marcus, and whispers in his ears, "You're saved by my little sister Mr. Davey, next time I see you, you will die."
Marcus responded, "Next time I see you Ms.Trevor, you will become my wife."
With those words said, Marcus pulls his arms from the men and walked out the room leaving Ebony stunned.
