Summary

Celeste Fenelley turns 20 when her mom tells her that she comes from a long line of powerful witches, that are cursed. She held out her hands, they were covered in long elegant white gloves, revealing a tattoo of the moon that had a cast of a shadow over it, waxing over the light that illuminated the moon. “Its the curse, I can’t explain it, I don’t care what you say,” she explained. “I’m the moon, and you're the sun and I’m constantly chasing you”.

Prologue

Celeste Fenelley had been trying to fall asleep, her mind was weighing on the fact that she was turning twenty tomorrow. As she looked outside, the pale moon was not far from view, the sun shining bright behind. It seemed every time she was awake the moon was up.She had woken up suddenly by another one of her nightmares. It wasn’t really necessary a nightmare, it was just a really annoying recurring dream. It became so redundant it became almost like a memory that she can play in her head like a movie reel.

Immortal and imprinted.

She closed her notebook and decided it wasn’t worth to write in down. Every entry in her journal was the same because it was the same dream over and over again.

The dream started always: in the place of clouds were eyes, thousands of little grey blue eyes.At least she could see his face- she was sure it was a him although she wouldn’t mind if it were either sex.It was large and unclear, she was just hovering all over him. His face was brilliant and blinding her eyes. She was the moon constantly chasing him. She found herself dying, her soul elevating and reaching. She felt the love pouring out of her. He died every night just to let her breathe.

She didn’t tell her mother about the dream. Her mother Joanna, had brought her to a therapist when she was fifteen for four years. Those were the years when the dream was constant. When she was about eighteen Celeste lied and said that the dreams had stopped in fear that she herself was growing insane.

And just an hour in the city and behind multiple houses- behind-was a nineteenth century old abandoned house except the real character of the house had come from the mages and witches that lived inside. They were all under protection of one woman who the kids had liked to call “Mary Poppins.”

Although inside is updated and modern, the real character of the house had come from the mages and witches that lived inside. Above in a small room Demetry Alcove was dreaming. He woke up and started sketching the girl from his dream. He knew deep down that he knew her across many life times and dimensions. He breathed in deeply and quietly, watching the dream replay in his mind’s eye a dream like a movie he knew by heart. He knew it when he was seven, he first discovered he was a mage.

There was a ceremony, with her long slender wand, his magical nanny carved a smooth clean circle into his wrist, it shown in a bright neon blue. When the burning sensation had cooled down Demetry realized that his nanny well now is mother had drawn the moon, craters and all.

Demetry came from a long line of mages, within five generations. Coming in line, he was born under an eclipse, his blood dripped the light of the sun as the all the other Alcove firstborn was.

The Fennelly’s came from England, they were half English half American. Almost all female members had black frizzy hair and green eyes. Most of them were extremely stubborn, and some were egotistical, typical of a female witch.

A long time ago a curse was born and awakened from a tomb, the Celestial Sword had risen out of it. The earth had begun to crack, the curse had woken up again, it had decided to go after Celeste Fennelly.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
