Prologue
For many years the world has been using up one of the resources they never thought they could use more then they had. With only a few patches of water are left. The oceans almost dried completely only a few lakes are left but they are too salty to drink from directly. Only those with the most power and money were able to get enough water for themselves and their people.
The world has been in complete chaos since the Takeover started in 2063. Ever since then the world has been in a Cold War with only one goal; to get enough water for each major power to survive.

Now this set the world into a state hopeful spirit, making them believe that they will have a better chance of getting enough water.
One year later on August 23, 2064, a news article came out in Mexico letting people know what was going on in the Western hemisphere.
Susan Larson, “The People’s Opinion,”
“I am in Mexico City. Many people are here to find out the outcome. To join the US and the efforts to better the lives of everyone, or decline and fight for water alone. After the bombs went off in Germany many people want to see a change. Since I’ve been here the crowd has grown by the thousands. You can see that people care a lot about this issue. I have had the chance to talk to some of the people here. They all said that combining with the USA would be the most beneficial thing to do. Some said that they lost loved ones from the lack of water, even children. They are here to support the combination with the US even if there is just a sliver of hope for them. Since the threat of the UK being taken over by Russia many families have become very scared of what will come next. There fear is helping them to see that things can get better. I have one message for anyone listening or reading; know that when things get hard we can still have hope for better times to come.”
This was one of the reports that would begin to happen all across the globe. Somewhere taken by an agreement while others where taken by “force” (many were not able to fight) although not very common. All were given the hope that joining together will give all an equal hope to have a glass of water whenever they wanted. This made all of the citizens want to join the newly forming countries but the officials were spectacle about the offer. Some would turn down the offer but later they would see the benefit because they were just not able to get enough water. This happened quite often and soon the world saw many countries turn into just a few.
