His Possession

It was sunny this morning, I loved waking up to the sun it makes me happy. At 19 I am proud of how much I have achieved in such little time I have learned that sometimes life throws you unexpected situations that you have to push through and that is exactly what I did. I grabbed my phone of the nightstand and noticed I had a text message from Max.

“Goodmorning Rose I miss you”.

I immediately texted him back

“Morning Max I miss you too”.

Max Thompson is someone I am grateful for he is someone who came into my life when I needed someone the most. I began to like Max a lot before he just got up and left. It has been four years when he reached out at first I completely ignored him I was upset that he left without saying a word but I let it go.

I met Max through my brother Alex who works for him, Alex did not like the fact that me and Max were becoming close but I told him that he had nothing to worry about.

I looked at the time and I realized it was 9:00 am and I do not want to get out of bed. I promised Alex that I would visit him today ever since our parents passed Alex has always been here for me he is truly the best. I miss my parents a lot I really wish I could go back that day and changed what happened but, that’s not how life works. When something like this happens you cannot go back and change it and that sucks.

Once I am up I get ready to go see Alex, I am so happy I did not have class today college is stressful. I am studying to become a Mental Health Counselor which is something I have always wanted to do, I want to help people.

After watching my best friend Annalise struggle with Bipolar Disorder, I just wanted to help people get better and to know that it does get better in the end.

As soon as I finished my shower I got dressed and made my way to see Alex. He is constantly working he said he wanted a good life for us without having to struggle like we did before.

I pulled into the parking lot making my way out of my car and into his building. I am always at his job yet I cannot remember half of these people’s name.

Once I get to his office I don’t even knock I just walk right in. When I walked in I saw he was talking to someone.

For a second I couldn’t breathe, I dint think I was going to ever see him again.

“Max”?

He turned at looked at me for a second before he smiled.

“Hello Rosie”.
