Leaving California was hard but much needed. I wanted a new start but I also didn't wanna leave my home. My life in Cali was boring, dead, and full of hatred. I was bullied for things that I couldn't control. Being born with a vagina was never the plan. But it happened so oh well.

I stand in the middle of the road looking at the house I grew up in one last time. So many good and bad memories here.

We were moving to New York because of my mothers new fashion job. Her and my dad were well known throughout the world. My mother Anna Allen was a very good fashion designer.

My dad Mason Allen, on the other hand was a famous business man. He sells all types of items. He is the vice president of Blacks Inc. I don't really know what he does, just that he gets paid a lot.

But back to me. All my life I’ve tried to make friends. But when they find out that I have a you know what, they end up making fun of me. Like this girl named Katy. We became great friends. Well I thought we were friends. We told each other everything. I thought she was my best friend.

I felt comfortable enough to tell her my secret. So I did. In the end she was the one who told the whole school about it. My parents tried to get me to press charges. But I didn’t. I felt like nothing would've changed. And nothing did.

So with the bullying and moms new job. The move was very much needed.

“I’m going to miss it too but we have to get on the rode hun.” My mother says while putting her hands on my shoulders.

I mumble out an okay before I head to the car.

It's an all black SUV. Tinted windows. Shiny rims. With grey leather seats. And there are TV’s in the backs of the seats.

Twilight is my favorite movie so that's what I decide to watch. All five movies. Sitting back in my seat trying to enjoy the ride to New York.

I hope I can make friends there. I hope I can find someone who will love me for me. Highly doubtful though. But I'm hopeful. It's my last year of high school; I want it to be cool.

Let’s see what the future brings.
