prologue
I sat on my designated seat, my face is expressionless as I tried to put all of my attention to the lecturer in front who’s discussing about the history of music and stuffs. I tapped my fingers ontop of my wooden desk while it create a random tune as I try to destruct myself, but nothing seemed to enter my mind but only you.
I licked my dry lips, closing my eyes at the same time as I hear the lecturer’s voice as a background. As soon as I opened my them, I once again grabbed the nearby pen that is just right beside my notebook before I proceed on scribbling any random things that I have in my mind.
To my surprise, it’s your name that I wrote.
I stare at my own hand writing, and that’s when I realized that the whole page is full nothing but your name, here and there, corner to corner, it’s your name that is written.
A sigh eventually escaped my lips as I put my pen down while my mind drifted to somewhere else. And I completely forget that I’m in the middle of a class until I hear the elder who’s in front of the room called for my name, but I care less as I turn my head to look outside the window.
Across this room from where I am right now, I can clearly see your quiet figure as you explore the whole place while wearing that beautiful smile that surely made my day complete, the way how your eyes sparkled whenever you look at each of the instrument amuzes me. As soon as I saw you sat in front of the piano, I can already tell that you’re once again spending most of your time in that old music room.
