"Firstly, I absolutely love the cover chosen for the book. So beautiful and different, The fact it stands out, is what drew me in, in the first place. The mini blurb was perfect, just a bit to snag you in like a fish on a hook. However, once I started reading, I fell a little disapointed. The story definitely has high potential, the language was written really well as is the punctuation. The only thing I think it may be lacking is the depth of emotion I struggled to find. I loved that the main character was different. Her appearence, personality, everything that makes her unique was something I appreciated as it's not something you get to read everyday. As she goes through the motions however, I found her to be quite detached in some aspects - not all the time - but I'd love to see more of her fire, her spark, something that gives her a "fleshie" feel you know? Although the only fault I find is the emotional aspect from each character I do truely believe that the plot, the characters, everything has great potential. It can be something magical, I have no doubt."
