"What can I do for you, Miss Gordon?" Joe spoke as if we hadn't discussed anything on the phone beforehand. "My uncle... Commissioner Jim Gordon is being framed for the murder of ten civilians." I may have sounded a bit distressed and perhaps frustrated as he felt the need to hold his hands out towards me comfortingly. "I'm aware of the situation, miss, but I need actual details of the suspect if I'm to help you." He grinned, reassuringly. "Oh, yes, well... Uh." I slid my satchel off of my shoulder and reached for a thick folder inside. He laughed, noting that I'd definitely done my homework. "Here's everything I have on Samuel Scudder. From the looks of things, he's not from around Gotham City. In fact, his last address was right here in Central City. But the real kicker is that he has a few... Extraordinary abilities."
