"I found myself captivated and read the whole story through. The plot and characters were twisted and went sideways in unexpected and fun places. Took a bit to follow, but,that keeps you engaged and not be a sloppy, lazy reader. I liked the surprises . One of these days I will learn how to pronounce most of the species names,ha ha I recommend this as a great read."

Must read for the fans of good scifi

"The plotline of all her works is one of the best available on the market. Sadly there are sometimes holes in it that the discerning reader would like to see closed - just because there is so much nervewrecking action going on everywhere else in the book. Some good editing would be a real boon to the marvellous storytelling of Vanessa Ravencroft."
