That’s me.

I had long brown hair, big green eyes, and a brain with knowledge that surpassed my years. At least, that’s what everyone told me.

I was 24 years old, and I had my life in front of me. Doesn’t everyone?

A brand new job, as a Receptionist at Hunt Inc. A new house just five miles away. And two cats, Charleigh and Marley, to keep me company.

I was never one to throw myself out there…in the dating world that is. My longest relationship was throughout high school, if you call holding hands and watching movies every day after school a relationship.

I had a few flings here and there in college, but nothing major, and nothing lasting more than a month or two.

All I ever wanted was that fairytale relationship. You know...the one where the girl gets swept off her feet by her Prince Charming, and they live happily ever after...?

Now, don’t get confused. I was in no way oblivious to the fact that those kinds of relationships only happen in the movies and in books.

But a girl can have hopes and dreams, right?

Little did I know, my life was about to go on one hell of a rollercoaster ride.
